Unique product that functions well for the money
I’ve been using this french press for over a month now and love it. It is small, lightweight, and seems to be hefty enough to withstand bumps and dings even though it is single wall titanium. I took the papery/mesh screen off of the normal metal screen and it seems to work just as fine. I read other reviews saying that additional silky screen allowed grounds to get through for whatever reason. I have had little to no grounds get through the filter so far. I mean, it is a french press, so it is inevitable but this one works really well for its size and quality of build. I am happy I bit the 60 dollar bullet and got it. I use it in my office everyday and it is super easy to tear apart and clean then dry which I do every time I use it to keep it in great condition. Eventually I will bring it on camping trips. I am nervous about squishing it in my normally overpacked backpacking bags. I did bring it to a wedding that I camped at with a ton of others and it was quite the conversation piece in the morning. Needless to say, your friends will be jealous.protip: After washing the container, blow through both handle housings to get excess water from sitting in there. I doubt it would rust or cause build up, by why take the chance?

Works great No issues
Lightweight. Makes a perfect cup of coffee for me on the trail. Very happy and I recommend this over the Stanley press and brew. Much more lightweight. But it does not make enough coffee for two people.

Living up to its reputation Snow Peak vs AeroPress
My verdict: Snow Peak.Weight: Snow Peak is lighterEasiness to use: Snow Peak. AeroPress needs to press over a cup.Hygiene: AeroPress. Upgraded the filter to stainless steel mesh (indestructible and easy to clean)Snow Peak, probably cannot change the pvc mesh. (Would be awesome if Snow Peak improve the mesh to a stainless steel or titanium)Price: AeroPress is more affordable.Travel: Snow Peak, easier to carry around while traveling.

good, but the filter sucks
this is a great little French press, however the filter design is not very good. A few modifications could make this much better as the grounds have to be very coarse otherwise they flow through and around the edges of the filter. A little bit more R&D from the company as far as fitting a better stainless mesh filter without the plastic filter would be far superior, or just using the traditional style coiled spring steel to secure the filter since the rubber gasket they use gets gross and is hard to clean. EDIT: i ended up getting a different press due to the rubber gasket being hard to clean and not holding the filter in place as efficiently as a traditional style.

Perfect, as described
Received in product package. Box damaged but the product was fine. Would recommend better packaging.

Screen has Nonremovable Silicone Part Instead of Spring
I was excited to find a coffee press that was so compact and lightweight; unfortunately, this has a silicone piece, instead of the typical metal spring, that I did not notice before receiving the product (you can see it in the photos provided by Amazon). It is fused with the metal bottom of the press, so it cannot be removed.

I also bought a set of mugs hand I was able to nest them and use the press storage bag. Light weight.

Grinds
Mine leaves grinds in every pot.

Compact and bijou French press. Nice to use, super light and negates the use of paper filters. Perfect for camping and impromptu coffee stops on the road. Be mindful itâs not that big.

Sehr hochwertig verarbeitet. Ultraleicht, gut zu verstauen (wegen der einklappbaren Henkel) und top Qualität. Typisch Japan.

Worth the money, Iâve had this for a few months now and from making coffee in the back 40 so you donât have to walk up to the house or in the Ontario backcountry I havenât had a problem. I was worried it would be some weird titanium alloy but Without any water I oxidized the pot and it blued like titanium would. Extremely lightweight. Reading the reviews others have complained about coffee grinds finding their way into your cup. Using corse grind and itâs very minimal for me at least.
