Are you having trouble getting a delicious, flavorful brew with your counter-top coffee machine? Need something portable for your Office, RV, or outdoor adventures? Tired of having to make a whole pot of coffee when all you want is one cup? Those days are over thanks to the Kuissential SlickDrip Coffee Dripper. Simply place the SlickDrip over your mug, set the paper filter, add coffee and boiling water, and your java fix will be satisfied within minutes. Thanks to its modern, FDA food-safe silicone design, the SlickDrip lasts much longer than more expensive acrylic, glass and ceramic versions. Also, unlike cheaper plastic drippers and counter-top coffee machines, silicone does not pass any odors or flavor into your coffee. Who likes plastic coffee??? For best results use a #4 or #2 coffee filter, which will keep loose grounds out of your mug. If you want more control over your coffee’s flavor, and a more affordable, collapsible, alternative to glass and ceramic drippers, welcome the SlickDrip to your home. (Please note we have recently changed the spelling of our brand name from Cuissential to Kuissential. Everything else about us is staying the same. Sorry for the confusion!)

Great coffee dripper
Love this coffee dripper. Very sturdy and well-designed, easy to clean and store. Probably best suited to one cup or mug at a time use, though, or maybe coffee for two.Anyway, with coffee prices going up, I began to regret every quarter to half pot I’d pour down the drain in the afternoon. Some days, I’d want three mug-fulls, other days something would come up and I’d only drink one.I like French press coffee, but it’s often a bother and takes a while to make. I also have a Capresso drip coffee maker — but that was the half pot I kept throwing away. So when we decided to buy an always-on automatic water boiler, the Zojirushi CV-DSC40 VE Hybrid Water Boiler and Warmer, Stainless Steel, intending to use it for coffee, tea, instant soups, and on-demand hot water, I decided to switch to a cup-at-a-time dripper.Didn’t want plastic because they do add an unwanted flavor to coffee and the plastic breaks down over time. Didn’t want porcelain or glass because they suck heat from the water and are breakable, plus they tend to cost a lot more. So I decided to give the SlickDrip a try.I really like the fact it’s collapsible, and therefore perfect to take along for travel or camping. Once dry, you can also just collapse it and throw it in any kitchen drawer (careful though, as it doesn’t look like any kind of coffee dripper cone when in the collapsed position and might be easy to overlook). The silicone rubber means it won’t emit anything into the coffee, and yes, it is dishwasher safe so you can sterilize it occasionally that way. At first I was a little leery about whether it’d be strong enough to hold the coffee, filter, and the dripped water, but it seems fine. The base is sturdy and fits perfectly even over my rather large 17oz mug.For what it’s worth, although they say you can use Number 4 cone filters with this dripper, I can’t see a need for anything larger than a 2. You’re really not going to make more than about 20oz maximum at a time with a dripper this size. Going to the larger filter seems to me just to be a waste of paper. My technique? Filter is empty, in dripper, over my mug. I dispense some water from the boiler (which is set to a resting temperature of 208F — we’re high altitude, so the actual temperature is lower, but still about perfect for coffee) to wet the filter, and warm both the dripper and the mug under it. Swirl the water, throw it away. Put about 2 1/2 scoops of coffee into the now wet filter (appropriate for the approx 16 oz of coffee I make with each serving). Put the boiler into its slow dispense mode and as the other review indicated, just add water a bit at a time to keep the grounds soaked but not soupy. In about 2-3 minutes, I have a full mug of piping hot (but not scalding) delicious coffee.Trying to be ecologically minded, we compost the used grounds and paper filters, which we then use on our gardens.Would I buy this product again? Yes. Would I recommend it to a friend? Also yes, but especially for people who travel but want to brew their own coffee.

Love this cone
As a coffee drinker, I like to try out different brewing methods but my usual method has been drip with my single cup Melita cone. When traveling, I always take a cone, filters and coffee so I can always be assured of a good cup early in the morning. When I saw this collapsible cone, I had to try it out. It’s brilliant for travelers. The same day my cone arrived, I got an email from Kuissential giving me directions for its use. The directions are a little different from what I do with the Melita so I appreciated the tips. Finding the right brew with any method can take a few tries. I initially thought that the 2 holes in the bottom were way too big. They are twice the diameter of the single hole in my Melita. I was tempted to find a way to block one hole before even trying it out but decided to try it before messing with it.I put my filter in and poured water in it to wet the paper and press it to the inside of the cone. This was the main thing in Kuissential’s directions that I’ve never done. Then I put in my coffee (my grind is a little finer than traditional drip grind) and poured the boiled and slightly cooled water over the grounds for a wash. (I usually discard this first bit of coffee to reduce the caffeine – it works) Then I slowly poured the water and was amazed that it didn’t drip through too fast. The result was a perfect cup of coffee. I’ll be using this cone both for travel and at home. The cone’s base is big enough to use with my large mug (3.75″ rim) and is sturdy. I can’t imagine it tipping if it’s sitting on a level surface. It’s easy to pick up with 2 hands on the wider edges of the top of the cone to see how much coffee has dripped in. I can’t find one thing I don’t like about this cone. It washes easily and collapses nice and flat for easy packing. Thank you, Kuissential!

Wow, one piece, all silicone, flexible, maintains shape
Love this thing….love love love this thing.A 1 piece, flexible, and tough filter that can pack anywhere? Shoooooot. After using it this past weekend on a car camping trip, I’m now of the opinion that this is useful not only on car camping trips but also for picnics, or even business trips if you’re picky about the coffee you drink.so useful, so compact and simple. So glad I bought it.—-Frankly, there isn’t much more I could write in this review than what’s in the title. It really is an amazing little 1 cup filter. It is flexible, and folds flat through an accordion-like mechanism. The entire filter is one pieceas such, the entire filter is flexible. There are no brittle components that might crack or break. It’s very light. While it’s designed to hold ground coffee and have hot water poured through it, it also works just fine to filter out the grinds from cowboy coffee.Better still, with a #2 filter, it clears out turpidity from water. To purify the water, clear out the turpidity with this little gadget and then I can use a steripen to sterilize any bacteria or viruses in the now clear water.Love this thing and plan to buy more.

I’ve been vaguely looking for a one cup drip filter holder for a while and when I found this one after finally making a concerted effort to search for one online, I thought it looked exactly what I needed. Folded it slots neatly in a drawer, which is great in our small kitchen. It will also be handy to take away with us when staying at places that don’t cater to those of us who like real coffee, taking very little space in our luggage. Opened out it holds a 1×2 filter paper and sits securely on every cup or mug I’ve tried it on, from fairly small to really quite large.I’m no expert but the drip speed seems reasonable – slow enough to get a good strength cup of coffee but not so slow as to be cold before it’s all dripped through! All in all, a great little product – does what you need it to do and packs away very neatly.

Absolutely LOVE these silicone coffee drips. We have used these so much I have recommended them to others who want a nice drip coffee. Combine them with the size 2 cone filters for a perfect cup of coffee. We plan to bring them with us on our trip on the train to make coffee we know we will enjoy. These are easy to use and collapsible, so take up very little space.I highly recommend these for everyone. They would be perfect for those who need a quick cup of coffee at work.If I could give this more than five stars I would.

This is highly likely to do exactly what it says on the tin, and collapse while you are using it. Never leave anyone in charge of it who doesn’t completely understand this or they will probably knock it over.Assuming you can keep it under control, this is an excellent coffee cone. It’s easy to clean and to use, and folds up very conveniently – ideal for the office or camping trips. I keep mine at home, where it takes up next to no space when not in use. It’s good for making coffee one cup at a time. If you want to make jugs of the stuff (or two cups at once), you need a different solution.

We bought this when we were about to leave on a one-month trip to Europe. Knowing that we’d likely encounter a wide variety of coffee makers on our trip, we purchased this as a simple solution for our morning coffee. With this and a small bunch of no. 4 Mellitta filters, were all set. We used it daily for that month and were more than satisfied. Compact when folded, lightweight and sturdy when in use. The couple we were travelling with bought one as soon as they got home from the trip. We have a second one that we leave in our canoeing/backpacking kitchen gear. Perfect for that use too
