Nice quality and can be used in other ways
The large mat arrived folded with the coasters and the smaller drying mat. Our large mat was folded for shipping. Other reviewers have said the mat did not flatten out well for them, but it was warm when we received our mat and it flattened out pretty quickly.We are not using the mats as I thought we would, but they are nice quality and useful. My original idea was to use the large mat under our Nespresso machine, but I was quickly overruled. My wife said she did not want a mat on the counter so I put the large mat on the shelf in our pantry where I keep the used coffee capsules before I send them off to be recycled. It works great for that. The small drying mat fit nicely on a shelf in our closet. It protects the wood from my keys etc. My wife loved the coasters and whisked them away to live with our other coasters. They emerge from hiding when drinks appear.This set seems like a pretty good value. My wife recently bought some coasters that cost $7 each. These coasters are not as pretty, but even if they cost only half as much, that would be $21 which is almost as much as this entire set ($24.78 when we ordered it).

Roomy mat for coffee prep area
This mat is made of excellent-quality silicone and is very roomy. I could fit my espresso maker, coffee grinder, cold brew machine, milk frother, and tea kettle on this mat. I like that it can be there to catch any drips or spills that are much harder to see on my black granite countertop, so this makes cleanup much easier. There is still ample open space in front of the machines to set things down and prep coffee or tea. I love knowing that if I spill some coffee grounds when grinding, or misalign the water tank on my espresso machine, any potential spills will be caught and contained by this lipped mat for much easier cleanup without any fears of stains or water damage.It also includes a second smaller mat with grooves that can be placed on the first mat or to the side, like I did, for more usable space. I use this as a drip mat after rinsing off my portafilter, screens, cups, etc. It also has spots to put espresso tools if desired. The back of this mat has two cup areas, one to hold the included silicone coasters and another for other small accessories. It would be a nice spot for spoons, stirring rods, measuring spoons for coffee grounds, etc.The included coasters are also very nice for putting under my cup while making espresso to keep the cup from rattling too much.Overall, I am very happy with this mat and would absolutely recommend it to any coffee or tea enthusiast.

Great mat for protecting my counter
This is a great silicone mat for protecting my granite counter from the dangers of my household making coffee and tea. I love that there is a raised edge to contain any spills – the mat I used previously only soaked up liquids. That was great, but the stains eventually leaked through to the counter, so it was double the work to clean the mat and the counter underneath. With this, I really don’t have to worry about the counter.The size is perfect for my needs, it fits right under my hot water machine and covers the area in front where drinks are being made, and spillage often occurs. It’s not quite big enough to go under my espresso machine, but I don’t need much protection under it.I love the extra mat – it’s actually the perfect size for going under slim, single cup pod coffee makers! It really saves the counter under my single cup pod machine, and I love that it comes with coasts and a little storage space. My 51mm tamper and distributor fit in it very nicely.Overall this is a great value if you know what you are getting – a soft, silicone mat with accessories. It does a phenomenal job of keeping my counter clean.

More space.
How it was packaged: In a bag, no damage. Unpacked it was a little wrinkled, but once you put it where it needs to go, I had no issues with it.Made of silicon, easy to wipe, nice and tacky for my purposes. No items will slide or be easily tipped over.I liked my pad in the before, but this one provides so much more coverage. I can utilize the space better and with the lip on the pad, I don’t have to worry about spills. The groves in the before, would pride the spill coverage I needed, however I was difficult to place my smaller items on without it tipping over. This mat provides that stability that I didn’t have before.This does come with coasters and another smaller pad that I use for my hot water and storage for our electrolytes. It was a nice bonus that I didn’t know I needed.

Good for small coffee machines, probably
I have a Terra Kaffe TK-01 and it can be a bit messy cleaning out the grounds at times. I was really excited when I saw this mat, but unfortunately, it’s a little too snug of a fit for such a large machine. It’s still great for catching loose drops or spills, but doesn’t cover as much counter space as I had hoped it would.The package came folded so it’s a little difficult getting it flat. I’m sure it will wear down with time but I kind of wish it had been sent flat, if possible. I do like that the set includes extra coasters, and the grooves for placing mugs are very convenient. The silicone is cut clean and didn’t smell like chemicals when I pulled it out of the packaging.It’s an excellent option for folks with smaller coffee machines, but if you have a larger espresso machine then this probably isn’t the one for you.
