    GREAT PRODUCT!
I have tried many coffee makers that claim they can produce ice coffee. Most of those products do not compare to this one. The main thing this coffee maker does is produce GREAT COFFEE. I am a very fussy person when it comes to ice coffee. This one delivers. It’s realtively quiet and has a great selection of light, medium, strong and stonger and lives up to its hype. It is also pretty quiet and super wasy to clean. This machine starts with cold water and comes out with cold coffee. It does not heat the water and then you need to add ice cubes which is awesome. However, if you want hot coffee just microwave it and you will have hot coffee with hardly no sediment. I normally don’t write reviews but I couldn’t pass up giving this coffee maker a great review. Enjoy!

Interesting device that works quite well!
I am more of a hot coffee sort of person, but I occasionally enjoy a cold brew/iced coffee beverage. When I saw the Shine Rapid Cold Brew Machine, I was intrigued and decided it was worth try. Upon unpacking the machine I was immediately impressed with the look and design. It has a stylish design that will look great on your countertop with your other kitchen appliances. The controls are straight forward and easy to use. The build quality of the unit is also very good and feels made to last. The Shine Rapid Cold Brew Machine uses a unique vacuum extraction method for brewing your coffee. To brew a carafe of coffee, you place your grounds in a sealed filterless basket. This basket is attached to a vacuum pump. When the basket is submerged in water, the vacuum pulls the water into the basket and then expels the water. This cycle continues for 10, 15, 20 or 45 minutes depending upon the brew strength selected. The process is actually entertaining to watch. You are able to brew anywhere from 3 to 5 cups of coffee. However, I found that Shine worked best when brewing 5 cups. When brewing 3 cups, the machine seemed not to work very efficiently. After the brewing cycle completes, you slide a lever to empty the brewing chamber into the carafe. The carafe has its own filter to help remove more grounds and sediment from your coffee. However, the brewed coffee does have sediment in it. The final product is cloudy because of the sediment and the way the brewing cycle agitates the brew. For best results, I found that placing the carafe in the refrigerator for 15 to 20 minutes after brewing helps the sediment to settle. While the Shine does an excellent job rapidly brewing a carafe of cold brew coffee, I think it is ideally made for the casual cold brew drinker because of the limited amount of coffee that each cycle produces. For my tastes, the maximum of 5 cups that the unit can brew at a time will produce about 2 to 3 glasses of a cold brew coffee beverages. While the machine can rapidly make make carafes of cold brew coffee in comparison to overnight brewing, the clean up between brewing somewhat hinders the efficiency of making multiple batches back to back. The brewing basket has to be dumped out, wiped out and then rinsed out in order to clean it. While this process isn’t difficult or much different than cleaning a french press, it does slow down your brewing multiple batches.Overall, I think that the Shine Rapid Cold Brew Machine is a great device for the person that wants a cold brew coffee beverage on an impulse. Within 15 to 20 minutes you can have a great beverage to enjoy.

    Not bad.
Those of us who are true coffee lovers, are very particular as to its preparation. We all have our own likes and dislikes, and I’m guessing that those of us who REALLY love it wouldn’t be caught dead in a local coffee shop, because no matter how hard they try, when you’re serving the masses, your coffee is not going to be as good as that which is lovingly labored over at home. Putting that aside let me just say that I am a fan of cold brew as well as my morning espresso. I have a glass of cold brew every day, no matter how hot or cold it is outside. There is just something about that jolt of coffee goodness in the mid afternoon that I really love. When I saw this cold brew coffee and tea maker, I was both intrigued and skeptical. I’m old-school. I make cold brew in the fridge, overnight, using a 3 to 1 water-to-coffee ratio. I like it strong, I like it pure, I like it to have a clarity that can only be gotten through the cold brew process.I put this machine to the test this afternoon, honestly, not expecting much. Let me first warn you that you have to anticipate being in the mood for cold brew, because setting this on “extra“ it ran for nearly 45 minutes. I was not expecting that. Naturally, forty five minutes beats the pants off of something brewing in the fridge for 24 hours, nonetheless, it would have been nice for this to have been mentioned somewhere in the literature that came with the machine. Second, there is no indication as to whether you are supposed to put level scoops of ground coffee into the filter basket, or mounded scoops of coffee; those of us who like our coffee strong are not coffee scoop levelers. This, also, would have been nice to know. The instructions are clear and concise. I am not a fan of instructions, and generally dread reading them, but these weren’t bad at all. None of the components are dishwasher safe, so plan on washing them all by hand. I didn’t find this an issue, but some people might. The end result was a strong, but rather cloudy brew. (Photo A) I found this an interesting appliance to use, but when you compare the rather large footprint it will take up in my kitchen versus the current French press style of cold brew coffee maker that I am currently using (that resides in the fridge) that yields a much more pure coffee (Photo B), I’m not likely to give this a lot of use. It also only makes 5 cups versus the eight that I get out of my French press style. I have yet to try tea in it, and I will be doing that later. If the results are astoundingly different from the refrigerator method that I have been using, I will update this review. For now, I can only suggest this for people with a great love of gadgets.

    Nothing but problems
I’ve had nothing but problems with this thing it doesn’t work properly. Also it’s a lot of lightweight cheap plastic and not worth the price even if it did work properly!

    Tea lovers 🩷
I love this for my loose leaf tea ☕️It does take about 40 minutes on the strongest setting but I bought these carafes at Walmart for super cheap and pre make my tea and coffee. It was a lot smaller than I realized but overall super happy 😊 works very well!

    I Wanted to Love This
The carafe isn’t reinforced with plastic like a coffee carafe is. Way too delicate for use & it sadly broke in shipping
