Very simple to use and works great
My mother used to have a tiny old electric grinder that finally gave up the ghost a while back. It didn’t hold much and she mainly used it for grinding up pecans for holiday baking rather than coffee. More recently I tried out a burr grinder as my first foray into grinding my own coffee. It worked fine, though even on the finest setting it still seemed like it could be finer. And what with how burr grinders are set up, they are pretty much only for coffee beans and nothing else. Then I decided to try this grinder, in part to replace my mother’s old one but also to see how it would handle coffee. The grinding cup is much larger than on that one, plus you can easily twist and remove this one, making it way easier to clean and transfer the contents. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, with two or three rounds of grinding (brushing the grounds along the sides back down into the middle in between), you can get your coffee ground down to a fine powder, which is how I prefer it.Long story short, I’ve replaced my burr grinder with this and will likely be using it for more than just coffee. The only downside is coffee grounds easily get everywhere if you aren’t careful, but I’ve found that’s simply an inevitability when grinding coffee.

Versatile Grinder with Convenient Features, but Not as Quiet as Expected
The SHARDOR Super Silent Multi-functional Coffee Grinder has become a handy addition to my kitchen, though not without a few caveats. Its one-touch start feature is intuitive and makes grinding coffee beans or other ingredients a simple task. The grinder has a generous capacity, allowing me to grind up to 2.5 ounces of coffee beans at once—enough for about 10 cups of coffee. This is ideal for my morning routine or when I have guests over. The stainless steel grinding cup is a standout feature—it’s removable, making it easy to fill, pour, and clean, and it’s even dishwasher safe, which adds to its convenience.I’ve also found this grinder to be incredibly versatile. Beyond coffee beans, I’ve used it to grind a variety of herbs, spices, dried chilies, flaxseeds, tea leaves, and even nuts. It performs reliably across all these tasks, saving me the need for multiple devices in the kitchen. This level of versatility is what makes it such a practical tool for anyone who enjoys cooking or experimenting with different ingredients. That said, I do have one reservation. While the grinder is marketed as “super silent,” it does produce a noticeable amount of noise during use. It’s not excessively loud, but it’s comparable to other grinders I’ve used in the past, so it’s not as quiet as I was hoping for. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but it’s worth noting for those who prioritize a quieter operation. In the end, I’m content with this grinder because it works well and offers flexibility in its uses. Its performance is consistent, the design is thoughtful, and the removable stainless steel cup makes handling and cleaning a breeze. If you’re looking for a grinder that can tackle coffee beans and a variety of other tasks, this one does the job efficiently, even if it’s not quite as silent as advertised.

Multipurpose grinder essential in every kitchen.
I have owned many electric coffee bean grinders over the years. All have been effective, but this has several unique upgrades that I greatly appreciate.First, the entire build of the grinder is shielded, so it is far less noisy compared to every other grinder.Secondly, this is a BIG DEAL, it has a removable stainless-steel insert. My older grinders don’t offer this which means various powders make their way into the mechanics of the grinder. Over time this can lead to reduced effectiveness or burn out of the grinder motor. The two unique features I listed above may not seem like much, but they really are.I’d love to see a future version with preset buttons that allow you select different grind types.

    CORDED. Very large. Powerful.
This is not battery powered, which is what I expected. It is plugged in with a standard AC cord. It is larger than I expected. It is quieter than my tiny coffee grinder but you can tell it has way more power. I engage the grinder for like 1 second to do what the smaller grinder would do in 4-5 seconds. This is not travel size and feels like industrial grade even though it has a pretty slick look to it. It’s definitely appropriate for grinding large amounts of stuff in a professional kitchen setting.

    Powerful and pretty quiet!
This is a nice coffee bean grinder…. my favorite part I think is that the cup you put the beans in comes out and then locks in when ready…. my least favorite part is that the top being pushed down is what starts it- but there is no way to know how hard is too hard- pressing it down to be sure it’s on- and I’ve had it start grinding the minute I plug it in- then you have to kinda hold onto it and pull up some to stop it. Have yet to figure out a different way and no instructions that I see otherwise.Really not that big of a deal though- just plug in AFTER you are fully ready for it to start- which is how my other one was anyway so it’s not something new to get used to! 😉 hahaReally does grate quite fine and you don’t have to shake it around like I had to with my other one. Far more quiet too! Volume is more as well- I do NOT like my old one now- had to put beans in cap and then put on upside down and then flip over to plug in- this one I can fill the cup with no fear of beans spilling all over as there is plenty of room from max line to the top and there is no flipping over!! ;-)Can def recommend!!

This is a great-quality coffee grinder
This does great in grinding coffee. But I wanted it for more than coffee. So I had dried garlic and ginger so I tried grinding them. It did fantastic. I ground them down to powder. I also did some herbs. I had to do a few times before I found how long to grind them for so they don’t end up a powder but once I figured out how long I started working on some of the herbs for my jars. This grinder got an A++.
