well satisfied!
I just got this grinder, and it works great! I just hope it lasts as long as my previous Melitta burr grinder (They don’t make grinders any more) which just died after about 40 years! I noticed that almost the exact same unit is still manufactured under the Secura label, but I decided to try a slightly less “plasticky” model. So far I like everything — I’ll let you know if that changes. Among the perks of purchase was a free upgrade to a 2-year warranty, which seems like a good deal. It’s slightly larger than the Melitta, but fits into pretty much the same space.It has one knob for fineness of grind and another for the number of cups-worth to grind.I tend not to trust the latter, so I just measure out the beans and grind to completion. Everything is interlocked, so if anything is not secured the motor stops. I use a French Press, so I chose a coarser grind, and found no grains left in my cupAll in all, I’m very happy.

Much, much better then my older one.
I am impressed with this coffee grinder. First, of course it’s noisy, that is the law of physics when you are doing something like grinding – but this is a LOT quieter then my older one. It is stylish, easy to use and clean. I hate grinding beans, but I like this one. Though, like all of them, it’s a pain to get the coffee from the grinder to storage/use because coffee grinds go everywhere. I’d advise to grind a lot at one time, store it, instead of trying to grind every time you make coffee. I can’t tell the difference in the taste. It does state on the instructions, not to run the cycle more then 5 times, to let the machine cool down before doing too much grinding in a row. I’d highly recommend this grinder.

Not great: customer service was spectacular
First, I’ve had this for about 2 months. There are 2 main issues with it. 1 is that the adjustable grind level doesn’t really have a difference. If you want your grind course, you end up getting a fine powder as if you set it to fine. No changes. 2, it makes a mess. Grounds go everywhere. They blow out the opening during the grinding process and then when transferring the ground product, the grounds go everywhere. Seems that the material it is made from causes a lot of static making it difficult for the ground product to pour out easily. Hands, counter, and floor get covered with grounds.Updating: a few days after my review, the company reached out to me hoping to address my concerns about this grinder. They asked if they could provide me with a replacement or a refund. I thanked them for the offer and informed them that I had already replaced it with a different one and that I also donated their product so was unable to return it. That didn’t mean anything to them as they still provided me the refund without returning it. I have to say that even though I had the issues with the grinder, customer service was spectacular!

Works great!
First time using a coffee grinder. This one was simple to use and has several settings for grinding. Used it for my French press coffee maker & the taste was divine! Great value.

Efficient but Messy
This grinder is efficient, in that it isn’t too loud, has all the bells and whistles for making the perfect cup of coffee, and it also looks nice on my kitchen counter. Unfortunately, anytime I use it, it leaves coffee grounds/flakes all over my counter because the part that catches the grounds does not click into the machine and it’s a total mess every time I grind coffee beans. I will likely be looking around for another option, but if you don’t mind a little mess, this is a perfectly fine grinder.

It works really well
I bought this to grind millet into flour. Me and my children have celiac disease and we have to be on a gluten free diet. The best 1 to 1 blend Iâve found is: 2 and 3/4 cups tapioca flour, 2 cups millet flour, 1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon sorghum flour, 4 Teaspoons xanthum gum, 1 -2 teaspoons salt. We use this to make bread, pizza dough, donuts, and cinnamon rolls. I add 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoons of yeast, 1 and 1/4 cups warm almond milk, 1 stick of melted vegan butter, (mix 1 tablespoons of baking powder into the dry mix and 1/3 plus 1 tablespoons of psyllium husk) 1 and 1/2 cups of warm water. Bloom the yeast, mix all dry ingredients (if making cinnamon rolls or donuts add 1 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons of Mexican vanilla). I use a stand mixer and mix all the ingredients with a dough hook. I let it go for five minutes and then place it in an oiled bowl and let it rest in the fridge for at least an hour. For pizza I roll it out on a cornmeal cover pan and add toppings. Bake at 425 F for 15-20 minutes. For cinnamon rolls I roll it out, spread butter in a thin layer, sprinkle cinnamon sugar and roll up. Slice and place in an oiled baking dish and allow tonrise covered for 45 minutes in a warm place. Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes. Top with icing of your choice.
