Great grinder for espresso!
I replaced my old grinder with this one specifically because the old one couldnt grind fine enough. I use a gaggia espresso maker with an open bottom unpressurized portafilter, and it was hard to find grinds fine enough to get the extraction time needed. This grinder is almost too fine on the finest setting, but I’ve found a 3 or 4 fineness setting works great in my machine! I love that you can dispense grind directly into the portafilter, and the fact it remembers your grind settings (single/double/triple shot, and grind time) based on grind fineness is something I didn’t know I needed, but love now!

True Esspreso Grade Grind
This machine gives exactly what I want.Given the price of other high end grinders, I was skeptical this grinder would give true espresso grade grind. I’ve encountered others the claim they do espresso grade, and yet their finest settings had it far too coarse. It’s simple to set up. It grinds quick and delivers what it promises. The powder is fine enough that through a naked portafilter, it pools up correctly on the bottom and drains down in a single direct stream. The coffee is rich and thick like it should be.I feel this grinder is good for It’s price, especially since I got it on a Black Friday deal. It’d probably my endgame grinder on my coffee journey, but it’s a late game one for sure that will last me for a couple years or more.

The Best Coffee!
I was using a blade grinder for my whole bean coffee and it did not cut it for percolated coffee – it was too fine and overkill. I decided to get this burr grinder and it was a game changer. Set it to how many cups you want and the grind level. The machine stays programmed that way until you change it. It grinds the perfect amount that I just add to my percolator basket – no need to measure – now I just grind what I need per pot so I can switch up my coffee’s anytime I want. One of the best purchases I have made this year…

Makes a more customizable pot of coffee.
So far we have really liked the adjustability of the grind and the only shortcoming in that perspective was the instruction book didn’t tell us how to adjust it but we figured it out. Love the anti-static hopper and that it covers all different types of coffee pots, expresso makers, and French presses. Well worth the money and since it was a gift we even got a two year warranty.

Fantastic quality burr grinder
This is a remarkably good quality burr grinder for its price point. The quality of the grind is consistent with a wide range of 40 grind sizes split between four brewing styles (espresso, coffee maker, percolation, immersion). The digital display is easy to read, stylish, and responsive to both the grind size slider as well as the dose adjustment knob on the side. Both physical controls feel high quality and tactile, as well as the buttons beneath the display panel. The grinding process is surprisingly quick even on fine espresso. The grounds cleanly fall into the collection basket (or portafilter if using the included holding attachment) and no shaking of the grinder is required to get any static clung grounds to fall. This is a huge improvement over my previous grinder where I would have to routinely scrape out grounds that did not make it all the way out. Additionally, I am pleasantly surprised how little sticks to the sides of the collection basket after freshly grinding beans. There is enough of an anti-static property to the basket to allow simply pouring the grounds out onto a brewing filter without having to use a brush. (included as a snap-on attachment on the lid along with a dosing cup). The hopper is well designed in that it can be filled with beans while not attached to the grinder as there is a bottom flap that only opens when it is fully latched. My only critique with this product is that there does not appear to be a press-to-grind option that is fully manual. Since I do not measure with volume and instead with weight, I like to not fill the hopper but rather only put beans in as I use them. Normally, I am used to just pressing a grind button until I no longer hear my pre-measured dose being ground, but in the case of this grinder the grind time appears to be strictly controlled by the dosing dial on the side of the grinder. This is not a major critique however as once I found a dosage size that reliably runs just slightly longer than my measured daily dose, and I haven’t had to set the dial again. This is great as I also like to keep my beans in a vacuum jar to further prolong freshness.Overall, I am absolutely in love with this burr grinder, and it has replaced my other similarly priced grinder entirely. This product is better in just about every way.

False advertising on the portafilter size cradle, but otherwise a good grinder
The product listing specifically states that it can fit portafilters size 51-58mm, but my 51mm portafilter wonât stay in place in the cradle because itâs clearly too small. Yes, I am using the âtopâ guides as the instructions say, but the instructions ALSO say the top guides is for residential portafilter 54mm so basically 51-53mm is too small for the cradle. I have to hold the portafilter in place during grinding which is really annoying since I bought this grinder specifically for grinding espresso directly into the portafilter. Otherwise, the grinder works great and is actually pretty quiet considering. Itâs not worth trying to return and look for something else at this point. I will see about Jerry rigging the cradle in a way that it will actually hold my portafilter
