Got these so my baby wasnt using plastic spoons anymore. When hes big enough i can reuse them for sugars and coffee tin. I accidently washed one a couple times in the dishwasher and ofcourse with wood its not good to be constantly soaked and so it chipped but it was only the one I kept washing in the machine
