This product is amazing in my opinion. This is the first Conical Burr coffee grinder that I have had. I have always had the type of grinder where the blade spins around inside a cylinder slicing the beans into grinds. This machine is on a completely different level! The coffee is so much smoother and more enjoyable! I highly recommend getting a thin bush shown in picture two for cleaning the interior parts! The bean hopper will hold 1/2 a pound of beans and has an arrow that will point to one of the 18 grind settings, 1 being the finest grounds all the way up to 18 for the coarsest grounds. Most of the negative reviews that I’ve read on Conical Burr coffee grinders is that they are either too noisy or that the motor burns up. This machine does indeed have a bit of a whine to it as it crushes the beans into your desired ground size, however, it is by no means overly loud. As for burning up the motor, PLEASE read the instructions as it states to allow the machine to rest between grinding cycles to allow the Burr to cool down. All in all, this is great machine. It does exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price and I could not be happier with this purchase!!

Fairly quiet and consistent grinder
Replaced our several years old Cuisinart DMB-8 grinder with this. The Secura Conical… is better in every way. Very consistent grinds from fine to course. It’s several levels quieter, easier to clean and makes less mess. So far there’s nothing about it I don’t like. For the price it seems like a great grinder. We’ll see how long it lasts.

Ground fine, but is extremely static – returned
The grinder grinds good, but thatâs it. This grinder creates so much static it makes a huge mess and is unusable. Ground coffee was everywhere. The design needs work. I returned after one grind as the mess was immediate.

This is not a coffee spreader.
I am not a pro, just a normal user. I read a lot of reviews of many other grinders and people complained how those spread coffee everywhere. But this just doesn’t spread, at all. I kind of figured out the reason why other grinders spread ground is because they have the ground exit point on the side connecting to the side opening of a receiving container. If you don’t have the container sticking well to the grinder’s body, there will be a gap and that’s probably the reason of spreading. But the Secura has a top to bottom design instead of lateral design, so there is very little ground escaped through the gap. Hope that helps.

Loud, and hopper is poorly designed
The positive side of this is that the grinder does make decent and uniform grounds. Beyond that, it’s extremely loud, and the hopper is poorly designed. It takes repeated shaking to get coffee to feed in to the machine, the coursness markings on the side are unreadable, and it spills coffee beans everywhere when you take it off for cleaning.I’m wishing I’d spent a little more on a decent machine.

Best Quality
Best you can buy at price point. really does “fine grind” for espresso. All grinds perfect. You do have to shake it sometimes to get beans to feed but that’s true of all burr grinders. Searching for a “conical” burr grinder that really works? This is it …Buy it …Tried The Rest And This Is The Best
