Built tough from EU food-grade glass-reinforced polypropylene, the Passage Mug can hold your favorite hot or cold drink. The Cool Grip sidewalls allow you to grip the mug firmly, even if the contents are hot, while the snug-fitting sipping lid keeps those contents from spilling when you’re on the move.
The Passage Mug can be stacked with other Passage Mugs and Cups, and is designed to nest into Sea to Summit Passage Bowls or Frontier Pots. Dishwasher and microwave safe, the Passage Mug is designed to go wherever your adventure takes you.

A nice mug
Lets start with things I don’t like: The measurement lines on the inside of the mug are nearly impossible to read. I can barely see them in my home kitchen! If you need to rely on them in camp its going to be flashlight time.The description says this has a silicone lid which can be stuffed into the mug for travel – it does not. The lid is the same hard material as the mug, with a little silicone gasket to seal.The neutral: This is not the most insulating mug I own. I appreciate that the outside warms up which feels great on my hands, and my coffee cools quickly enough to drink, but if you actually need it to keep your coffee hot for hours it wont.The mug is very technically 16oz, but the measurement lines only go up to 12oz. The mug is 16oz filled to the bottom of the lid, but that is EXTREMELY full if you aren’t going to use the lid.The good: The mug feels outstanding to hold, and is reasonably light.

Insulates well for about an hour
This is a hard formed tumbler and will last through a good backpack trip: it is rugged enough to withstand drops, have ribbed exterior texture to help with holding it, and a lid to help with spills. I have been using the insulated metal mugs, and compared to those, this is definitely lighter. For backpacking, morning coffee is a time of joy, especially the moments before packing up. The mug will stay hot enough and warm your hands with its radiant heat. But I miss the handle, both to hold and to hang outside the pack. This doesn’t insulate as well as my metal ones but for backpacking, weight is a high priority, especially for extended trips.

Thermo cup Failure
shopped for a thermo cup similar to Yeti that was microwave safe . this was the only one micro safe. it is no match to the thermo quality of Yeti cups. did not keep coffee warm

Perfect for walking
Adult coffee sippy cup for my 2 mile walk to work. Perfect because it releases some of the heat so that I can drink it as I walk. For days that I want to keep the heat till I get to work, I use something else.

Sturdy Cup, but minimal insulation
The cup is really sturdy, and a perfect size. I love the way the groovy texture feels in my hand. Fits well in a cup holder. Itâs advertised as insulated, but it really isnât. Itâs definitely double-walled, but sweats with cold drinks. Insulated cups shouldnât sweat at all. The vent hole in the lid is too small, causing the flow to be a trickle. I have another similar cup from Sea To Summit, and it has a bigger hole that works better. The measuring lines are really hard to see. Minor complaints aside, I really love the cup and use it all the time, even at home. It feels like it will last a really long time.

This is microwavable which is great. Can easily hold it with boiling water in it. The lid fits very securly, lightweight and does not break when dropped.

I should learn to read about the item and not just look at the picture. This thing is massive. I have large hands and it’s not comfy. It’s also baby poo brown – I was going to return it but now I am just going to give as a gift to someone I kinda like.
