Best Coffee I’ve Ever Had! A Must Buy
I recently ordered the Classic Roast from Santa Lucia Estate Coffee, and I am absolutely thrilled with this product! As a coffee enthusiast, Iâve tried hundreds of brands, but this one truly stands out.My experience was best-in-class from the start⦠My order arrived ahead of schedule (total time to delivery was just two days). Then, from the moment I opened the bag, I was greeted with a captivating aroma that promised a delicious cup of coffee. The Classic Roast (their lightest roast) delivered a full-flavored, medium-bodied coffee. The tasting notes were as advertised (bright, earthy, spicy and sweet chocolate tasting), which resulted in the perfect balance of complexity and smoothness. I drank my coffee hot/black, which really allowed me to appreciate the complete flavor profile. Furthermore, a standard serving size delivered just the right amount of caffeine kick to start my day on a high note.I was so pleased with the product and my experience that I reached out to Santa Lucia to say thank you. The representative, Marco, responded quickly and was very appreciative. He shared that the company is a family-owned business with a 30-year history. That makes sense because Santa Luciaâs dedication to their craft is evident in every aspect of their coffee. If youâre looking for a coffee that combines exceptional flavor with a meaningful impact, look no further than Santa Lucia Estateâs Classic Roast. Highly recommend! I look forward to trying their other roasts.

Great bold flavorful roast
Been ordering for a couple years. Discovered in NOLA and found in MD. Always consistently smooth and robust. We drink it black.

Excellent coffee
I ordered this coffee to try on the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed! I prefer a light-medium roast and I make pour-over coffee every morning. I ordered the classic roast, and the coffee tasted and smelled delicious. The beans were vacuum-packed for freshness and the date of roasting was written on the bag, which was a nice touch.I’ve ordered again and highly recommend this coffee to everyone!

Decent medium-roast coffee
This Santa Lucia Nicaraguan Specialty Coffee has a smooth, mellow profile that will appeal to those who prefer a gentler start to their day. The classic roast delivers on its promise of bright and earthy notes, with just a hint of spice and a sweet chocolate finish thatâs enjoyable, even if itâs not quite as bold as I usually like. Itâs the kind of coffee that you can sip on without worrying about any bitterness or acidity creeping in, making it a good choice for those who prefer less intense roasts. The flavor, while mild for my taste, is well-balanced and satisfying, particularly if you enjoy a medium-bodied coffee that doesnât overwhelm the senses. I tried it both hot and iced and found that the subtle sweetness and earthiness really shine through, especially when brewed as a cold brew.Whatâs also worth noting is the story behind the coffee. Knowing that it comes from a small, family-owned business with a commitment to sustainable practices and supporting women farmers adds an extra layer of appreciation. While this roast might not be my go-to for a strong, robust cup, itâs clear that a lot of care goes into producing this coffee, and for those who enjoy a lighter roast, itâs a solid, flavorful option.

Excellent medium roast coffee
I used this coffee to make espressos and found it to be a well-balanced medium roast with nice chocolatey notes. The beans I received appeared to be very fresh and I got lots of crema in the shots I pulled from my espresso machine. I enjoyed this bag and would definite revisit it in the future!

Exceptionally good coffee
This is a 16 oz bag of Santa Lucia Estate Coffee Classic Roast, medium roast ground coffee. It arrived perfectly fresh and factory sealed. This coffee is special. It has a beautiful medium roast aroma. I brew it according to my usual measurements and method (French press). Sometimes I drink it plain, sometimes with some half & half. With other coffees I always use half & half but this is so great I like it with or without. It is perfectly balanced in terms of richness, bitterness, and acidity. It is smooth and robust with notes of chocolate and fruit. On top of just being a really beautiful coffee, it is also ethically and sustainably produced by a woman-owned, family-owned business. This is truly top notch coffee, and at a price as I’m writing this of only $16.99 for a full pound, it is also a tremendous value.

Decent Cup of Coffee
These medium roast grinds produce a decent cup of java from my drip coffee maker. I think that every coffee drinker has unique preferences. For me, mellow is best. I find this coffee bitter and haven’t noticed anything that distinguishes the flavor from any other brand I’ve tasted. But it’s fine. A full pound of grinds packaged well in a strong paper bag (not resealable) will last me a long time. The coffee has a fresh aroma, and I appreciate that the expiration date is many months away. I love that this product is from a small business and “farm direct.”

Nice flavor and work well in my cappuccino machine
I’ve been using these beans in my all in one cappuccino machine and so far things are going well. I have used beans in the past that had an oily residue and would gum up the works; these beans have not presented this as a challenge at all. The flavor is smooth and I am enjoying my morning coffee.
