Just what I was looking for
Been an excellent grinder so far with great capacity. I’m able to grind enough for my 1.5L French Press or my 2 quart cold brew pitcher with one load. This is in contrast to having to load 3-4 times on my old grinder to get the desired amount. The grinder is quiet and not all that loud with smooth operation while in use. This is great product that is recommended.

I got this electric burr grinder for my mother-in-law, who just started making pour-over coffees. I wanted her to have a proper burr grinder, but I don’t think this one is suitable for regular home use. I had to recharge it after at least 4-5 uses. Another issue is the amount of coffee it can grind. I typically use 30 grams of coffee beans. The grinder has an auto shut-off feature. While this may be convenient, it’s a hassle to press the button at least three times for it to finish grinding 30 grams. Additionally, I canât fine-tune the grind for pour-overs. According to the manual, it recommends 32 clicks for âhand brewed,â but that setting makes the beans too coarse for pour-overs. Ive since adjusted the setting. But the coffee tastes weak. Which to me is a grinding issue. Im a little disappointed with this. I will try to experiment with the settings some more. At this time, Iâm not impressed with this product.

Elegant but not for home use
This review is for SANMAS Electric Burr Coffee Grinder with Stainless Steel Grinding Core…, $79.99This is a very attractive and small machine. It’s simple to use and the included instructions are very short, but they cover everything you need. Because it’s so small, it only grinds small batches at once, so maybe enough for 2 cups unless you like it extremely weak. This device would be great for car camping for a couple of people. It’s too heavy for backpackers, though. Its weight suggests either it has a very durable motor, or a large battery, or perhaps both.At $80, it could be a bit on the pricey side.

Grinds slowly but works flawlessly
I got this for trips because my old hand crank grinder started slipping on me. I was skeptical at first but after using it a couple times with my Aeropress I couldn’t be happier with it. I run the 45 second grind twice for a cup and it comes out great every time.The one downside I found is the directions aren’t particularly intuitive for how to adjust the grind setting. First you set it all the way to the finest setting and then rotate it back to the desired grind setting, this is pretty standard but the grind intervals are listed as 16 units per rotation and 24-30 is the sweetspot for Aeropress. This means I’m rotating it 1.5 rotations. Once you get the hang of it it’s not too hard but I wish it counted off in “clicks” like other portable grinders I’ve used.Overall, this is a great and well made portable grinder for travel use. Just make sure if you’re flying with it to keep it in your carry on as the lithium batteries can’t be checked.

Good for travel with a pour over or aeropress
Grind consistency sufficient for pour over, aeropress, drip, or vacuum pot, but not consistent enough for use in a moka pot, espresso machine, or for Turkish coffee. Will definitely pair up with a pour over funnel or my aeropress for coffee when I’m traveling.

Arrived broken.
The domed top piece that houses the motor for this coffee grinder was snapped off when it arrived. The timer was also broken. On the 45 second setting it grinds for about 10 seconds then quits. Don’t waste your money on this grinder. This one was useless.
