A little tough to open/close
Liked the style and easy to use after putting it together. Itâs a bit tough for arthritic hands to open for installing batteries and filling. Hopefully this process wonât have to happen very often.

MISLEADING. HOWâS THAT FOR GRAVITY?
Extremely disappointed with this gravity electric salt and pepper grinder. The product description is very misleading, making it sound as though all you need to do is tilt it past a 90-degree angle for it to start grinding automatically and dispense pepper. The exact words from the description even state, âThe Sangcon Gravity Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder activates automatically when tilted over 90 degrees, allowing freshly ground spices to sprinkle effortlessly onto your delicious dishes.â It also claims to be âideal for those with arthritis.â How insulting.While I donât have arthritis, I am currently dealing with other injuries, and I was relying on the ease of use promised by the description. However, thatâs simply not the case. You have to manually open the lid every time, and if you donât, the pepper just grinds and sits trapped in the chamber between the lid and the grinder until you open it up to pour it all out. I was so disappointed that I even returned a previous model, thinking it was defective, but it turns out the actual defect is the misleading description, not the grinder itself.Does it grind? Yes, but not in the effortless way they make it seem. Additionally, it continues to grind before you can get it upright again, so thereâs then extra pepper that just sits there until you either need to grind again, otherwise, youâll need to slide the switch to turn it off in order to shake the remaining pepper out without activating the grinder again. And after all that, youâll have to manually close the cover again.dThis is not at all what I expected, and I feel completely misled by the product description. This was a huge letdown and not what I was hoping for.
