    Really good coffee beans!
I have used “Verena Street” Julien’s Breakfast Blend beans for a few years, but they seem to be price hiking and have low inventory so I tried this. The beans are of outstanding freshness (oil on the beans) and this blend is even better than the brand I’ve used for years. It is an outstanding cup of coffee whether used in a french press or auto drip! Smooth, yet still rich and bold with no sourness. It is in between a french roast and a standard medium blend, but has all the good characteristics of both with none of the drawbacks! Two pounds of high quality beans for $20 isn’t bad for 2025.

    We love this coffee
I wouldn’t say this is good coffee for the price. This is just plain good coffee with the extra bonus of being a good price. So happy to have found this on Amazon! My household missed it when we moved. Everywhere around us sells overpriced dry/stale overly bitter coffee (and often preground and flavored which we also don’t like) that often tastes either watery or burnt. We will be ordering this from now on.The beans themselves are just the right amount of oily and we don’t need to douse it in sugar to make it drinkable. It also smells good to the person in the house who doesn’t drink coffee which is high praise from them since usually they complain about coffee smelling bad.We like the medium and dark varieties of this coffee. Great way to wake up in the morning!

Not Bad if Price Conscious, Far From Great
This purchase was motivated by price with expectations tempered by reviews. The good: well within the best-by date; not stale; no crazy off flavors. The not-so-good: over-roasted, I’d call this an oil slick roast; seriously lacking in depth of flavor. This a flat coffee, like no dimension, a kind of burnt flavor is the total flavor. Weird. I do find it drinkable, because I really like french roast, and I prefer a burnt roast to a light roast (call me a heathen, I can take it). My preference is for a textured, lightly acidic, dark roast. That”s not this. If I didn’t need to watch pennies I’d be disappointed, but for 50 cents an ounce and a dark roast that isn’t stale or impossibly bitter I’m grateful.A lot of reviews mention the clear bag. Yeah, not a great idea, OTH, lotta brands out there sell bags with 25% bean chips (Amzn happy belly, you know who you are), maybe it makes sense? Anyway, I wash and save old coffee bags for situations like this, so I just transfered it to another bag.

    Delicious decaf – Tough beans
I like to drink espresso, but need to limit caffeine after noon. These beans taste great and allow me to have an afternoon coffee without it affecting my sleep. They are very dark and not too oily. They produce a rich cup of espresso that is as good as (maybe better than) coffee from Lavazza and other big name espresso roasters. The only issue I have had is that the beans are pretty tough in my grinder. I have a Breville espresso maker with the integrated grinder. When I mix these beans 50/50 with traditional Lavazza beans, it causes my grinder’s clutch to skip. Increasing the grind size did not solve it. I have a separate bur grinder that I now use to grind these beans. This solution works well for me and I will continue to buy these beans (because they make such a great cup of coffee). But I thought other Breville owners might want to know about this in case it is an issue for them. FWIW, my machine is over 12 years old with 1-2 grind cycles per day (~6,000-7,000 shots). So this may not be an issue for a younger machine.

    The search is over!
Wow! Where have I been?! I mix my regular coffee with decaf, but was looking for a ‘cleaner’ brand. I bought this and their Decaf and was bowled over by the freshness and flavor of them. The best coffee I’ve ever had at home. I grind them and steep in my French press for a bit. Outstanding flavor, company, great price and so fresh!

    Taste and freshness of roast
It is a blend of hawian and reg beans it tast like burnt coffee . No nutty undertone I have bought cheap beans that tasted better . The package is suppose to be vacume it was not so it sat on a shelf for awhile exposed to air . The date says it all . I have bought other san Francisco Bay coffee and expire dates are always a year out the bridge mix is very good .save your money don’t buy the Hawian blend

    Delicious decaf without the chemicals
I am allergic to the chemicals used in the decaffeination process. The result is excessive, very painful bloating. This Brand is decaffeinating the green bean with water and roasts them afterwards. So not only are the beans clean and contain less contaminants, but the flavor is delicious and there are no side effects.

    Smooth and balanced
I’ve been exploring different coffee blends lately and decided to give the Moka Java a try after hearing good things about this classic blend. I usually stick to more traditional roasts but wanted something a bit different, and this did not disappoint! The medium roast hits the sweet spot for me—not too light, not too dark. The flavor profile is smooth and balanced, with a delightful mix of chocolatey notes and a hint of fruitiness, which gives it a rich and slightly exotic taste. The beans are fresh and aromatic, filling the kitchen with an inviting scent when grinding.Overall, I’m really happy with this choice. It’s a great, versatile coffee that works well for my morning cup or even a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. If you’re looking to try something a bit different from your usual blend, this Moka Java is a solid option!

JAJAJAAltamente recomendado.

We were looking for a reasonably priced, tasty decaf coffee. I decided to look on Amazon because I could read reviews from verified purchasers and set up a regular delivery. I found this supplier by chance and ordered a bag of beans. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the coffee considering the beans were cheaper than more well known brands. The resulting cup is strong, and full of flavour. There is no chemical taste and friends who don’t drink decaf, haven’t ever realised that they’re drinking a decaf coffee. We use the beans in a bean to cup machine and never have any issues with the brewing unit cloggin because the beans are too oily.I would recommend these beans for a decent cup of decaf coffee, that doesn’t taste like decaf!
