    Lovely S&P grinders. For discerning shoppers, please note the white inserts at the bottom of the grinders are noticeable and may not be your favorite. Otherwise, very elegant lines on these grinders. 🙂

    Nice, affordable salt or pepper mill
    Very nice quality lucite.Only difference from a more expensive one I have:1. The top screw is lower quality (less refined design)2. The bottom has a white plastic liner where salt comes out (my nicer one is all clear lucite)Neither of these design features affects the operation of the grinder, and aren’t major visual drawbacks in light of the price.

    It works, but not too well
    It’s a lovely grinder and it definitely does what it is supposed to do. However, it’s sometimes quit difficult to turn the knob at the top. There really isn’t a lot of space between the knob and the body of the grinder, so when you turn it, it causes some friction and it almost feels like they’re “stuck” together and the knob doesn’t want to turn. In addition, it doesn’t yield a lot. It requires *a lot* of grinding to produce a decent amount of pepper, and with the knob already difficult to turn, the whole process just becomes frustrating. All in all, it is a nice product, it looks nice, and it does what it needs to do. It’s just that, like I said, not very well. I think it’s fine if you just need a tiny bit of pepper, like to season a dish. But if you’re gonna use this to season an entire pot of something while you’re cooking, then no, I don’t recommend it.
