Genuine ceramic grinders
Edit: after a week of use I wanted to share a drawback of this design: the glass is slippery with damp hands, making them difficult to use while cooking. They’re easy to use with dry hands at the dining table.

The quality of materials is mixed. The brushed stainless steel is has a clean finish and doesn’t fingerprint easily. The grinder top screws securely onto the glass jar and doesn’t leak. However, the plastic parts could be better. The black rim is rough and has sharp edges. One of the dust caps is more difficult to put on than the other.
The grinder component is indeed ceramic. The grind is smooth for both salt and pepper and doesn’t get stuck like my other pepper mill. For best results, grind clockwise instead of turning back and forth.
I keep the mills inverted on a small plate next to the stove; this way I don’t have to mess with the caps and dust & oil particles stay out of the grinder.
The dimensions in the photo #4 are for a different product. The actual dimensions are 5″ high by 2-3/8″ diameter. The listed capacity is correct at 3/4 cups (180 mL).
The neck of the glass jar is too narrow to fill without making a mess. I made a funnel by cutting the top off a 1-liter bottle. See my picture.

Not great quality
Upon initially opening the box, these looked really nice but after more thorough inspection and use they are a bit disappointing. I will say at $9 for two, they aren’t terrible, but they aren’t great. The plastic ring around the inside of the lids is not smooth, kind of sharp in some spots, and has spots where it’s uneven. When actually grinding, because the top where the lid fits in is much deeper than necessary, salt/pepper sits in there unless you are at a perfectly up and down angle, which results in a large amount dumping in one spot.

Works well, but grind setting is confusing
This little set works great. The picture has the incorrect size listed. The written description is correct: Product Dimensions 2.6″W x 5.4″H
There are dots that indicated grind coarsness levels, however there is no indication as to when you’re at a particular grind. There is no arrow or notch or anything to point out that you have reached any one of the supposedly 5 grind levels. I just kept twisting the wing nut until I liked the type of grind coarsness I got from it.
I think this is a great little set. I only needed a pepper mill, so I gave the extra one to my daughter. So far, I am really happy with it. The grinding mechanism is ceramic, even though the rest of the silver portion is metal coated plastic.

Stout little salt (and pepper) shakers
These manual salt and pepper grinders are very nice. The outside is stainless steel and acrylic, which wipes clean easily. They feel good in hand, and the grinders are ceramic so they grind precisely and won’t corrode from the salt like metal burrs.
