Beautiful & Functional *
This is an exceptionally pretty set. So much so, that I’m leaving it set on the table. I’m not using it for salt and pepper, but for Sea Salt and Pink Salt. The grinders are adjustable which is nice, because sometimes you just want a fine grind and at other times you want a heavier grind. I had a small problem, but the sellers fixed it right away. They’re very honest and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase other items from them. I like that the grinders are a nice heavy glass. While I don’t expect to ever drop them, I do appreciate a heavier glass as compared to something thin. That said, I would always wash all the parts by hand to keep them nice and in tip top shape.I recommend this as they’re both functional and pleasing to the eyes. Thank you for reading my review.

Great product – be careful of lids
I really enjoy using these grinders for cooking! Just a word of caution about the lidsâthey don’t seal well. I unfortunately broke one of the grinders when I grabbed the top, causing the lids to pop off and the grinder to shatter everywhere.

Perfect Salt & Pepper Grinders
Excellent design, size and function, plus they have CLEAR PLASTIC TOPS so you can easily see how much ground salt or pepper you have to sprinkle on your food. After using my first set I knew I needed another set for different combinations of pepper corns in particular. Oh, and they come with an extra set of ceramic grinding wheels (yes, ceramic, not plastic as a few reviewers falsely claim). Very smooth operation and adjustable from fine to coarse sizes. Here’s my recommendation for use. First, use quality coarse salt and whole pepper corns. Second, don’t grind with lid off over hot steaming food while cooking because the steam will negatively effects the salt and pepper in the grinders, the grind quality you get, and will ultimately clog the grinders. Just grind with lid on until you get the required amount (hence the need for the clear caps), open the caps and sprinkle. Easy peasy… âº

I was taken in by the attractive looks of this item. I bought two, one for salt, one for pepper. The salt one I filled with free flowing salt and it works, no surprise there. BUT the pepper one does not grind at all. It comes out in big chunks, but you don’t feel that it is grinding. If you tighten the grinder, it stops working and the black plastic ring holding the ceramic grinding piece in place comes off. Then you take it apart, put it back and try again…same result.Not worth it.
