I like the look as well as the function of this easy to use and fill (it came with its own little silicone funnel- so convenient!) pepper mill.

Broken
Used it 3 times and it broke. A piece of plastic came off of the grinder part and fell into my food. It was a big circular part that I tried to put back but wasnât able to. Now it just spins in circles

The glass container and grinder mechanism are fine, but the metal part that you grasp and turn simply spins in place. I think it was probably just glued and the glue has dried up. The result is that you have to grasp it very tightly to create enough friction to turn the underlying grinder mechanism. And finally the black plastic edge that protrudes at the bottom is thin and rough and sharp – it is just poorly finished.

good quality bottles and convenient holder
This is a review for the Mikinya Salt and Pepper Grinder Set with Holder (ASIN: B0D1R7LQYY). The price was $16.99 when I ordered it. I have long used a pepper grinder but have wanted to get one for salt too to try out some of the different options available, such as that pink Himalayan salt. I saw this set and was eager to give it a try. There is a lot I like about this grinder set. I really like that the bottles are clear so you always know when they need a refill. My old pepper grinder is wood, so I just have to wait until no more pepper comes out to know itâs empty. Also, my old one has the grinder on the bottom. This creates a mess as remnant particles of pepper inevitably spill onto the shelf whenever the grinder is moved. This set has the grinder on top, eliminating that hassle entirely. The only time it is upside down is when youâre grinding the salt/pepper over footd. I also like that these grinders have lids that cover the top of the grinder completely. The bottles are a good size to hold plenty of peppercorns and salt crystals, and the bottles are made of real durable glass that feels good in your hand. The price point of $17 seems quite reasonable for a complete set of grinders and a holder.There are some areas where this set stumbles too. For example, the stainless steel is quite thin. It makes the grinder piece and lid feel fragile and not very durable. I suspect that even a minor drop or knock-over would ding-up this metal. The black plastic lip at the top of the grinder has a fairly sharp lip that you have to be careful with when handling it. The metal holder looks and feels a bit cheap. The protruding metal prongs that the grinder bottles slide into on the holder are poky and a fairly sharp. Iâm surprised they didnât come with rubber or silicone caps to put over those prongs. Also, the positioning of the prongs is a bit odd. They hold the bottles slightly elevated so the bottles are dangling just above the bottom of the holder. Perhaps I just need to bend the prongs outward a bit so the bottles slide in more easily and arenât held up above the base of the holder.

Pepper grinder doesnât grind!
Iâve tried all the different settings⦠ordered the pair, I have to assume one of them is broken. The salt seems to grind ok but the pepper doesnât grind and nothing comes out.

I like it but I thought i was getting both salt and pepper grinder. Very disappointed in the fact that I needed to buy two .in which I would have if it had said salt or pepper grinder refers to one item not two
