I bought these as I buy my spices from an organic spice company here in the states and they send the spices in sealed “plastic” bags. I figured I’d try these because if they didn’t work I could return them. They are just as advertised – 8 oz glass bottles (jars) which seal tight. My only issue is the labels — which is why I took a picture of them. They made me LAUGH when I read them. Can you imagine any American company providing you labels for your spices named Bulk, Jam, Essence, Yeast, Herbs or (my favorite) Cookies??? More to the point, can you even imagine how SMALL the cookies would have to be to fit in an 8 oz spice jar? I ended up taking my silver Sharpie and writing the spices I used in the space ABOVE the name they printed on the label, and then cut them off with a straight razor blade. They’re good for the price and I’ll definitely buy another set if I find I need more.

I love these little spice jars. They fit a large amount of spices I like to buy enough in bulk to last for a little while. The only drawback is if your hands are wet or greasy, which probably should be avoiding and opening jars, the lids are a little difficult to get off
