I’m having fun experimenting with it.
So far I have made 4 candles but have not burned one yet. Everything arrived in the kit, all the specified equipment and labels. It helps to have a digital scale, heat resistant pad(s) for your table or workbench top, and cleaning supplies. I experimented with temperature control, I think I have melting figured out. Haven’t added dye or fragrance yet as I had an issue when pouring. As I pour, the wax solidifies on the side of the pot and in the spout. You don’t see this happening in any youtube videos I have looked at!Anyway, this causes issues of getting lumps of wax in the candles, can make it difficult to pour, and wastes wax. I’m working on this issue. Since making the 4 candles I read on the Rufus AI Q&A that adding dye and/or fragrance can help with the flow as you pour, so that is what I will try next.
