Excellent Tumbler!
After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to order, but the good reviews convinced me that there was much more going for this tumbler than going against it.I ordered the Harvest (yellow/brown, reminds me of Dijon mustard) color, 20 oz. and it is really nice. The transparent Amber colored lid is really attractive and well made.Pros:A large sip hole! Nearly every mug/tumbler that I’ve purchased has a tiny sip hole, which makes it impossible to get a nice, hearty sip or gulp, probably due to a vent hole that is too small. I assume the sip hole was made larger on this tumbler than most so that you could use a straw, but why would you want to use a straw if the hole is big enough to drink comfortably from? A straw is just something extra to have to carry along. One of the reviews said that they could not drink hot liquids out of the tumbler with the lid on it because you would easily burn or scald your tongue and lips. I would say that if you drink with the lid on thinking that it is like most all of the other lids that you’ve sipped from, then yes, you could probably burn yourself. Because of the larger than normal sip hole, think of this as a normal cup of hot liquid, and drink from it the same way that you would drink any hot liquid from a cup. I have not had any problem at all with drinking hot coffee from this mug/tumbler.A screw-on lid! It makes no sense whatsoever to purchase a tumbler that doesn’t have a screw-on lid. It almost guarantees a leak-free experience. And if a tumbler with a screw on lid does leak, it is most likely because the user tries to screw the lid on so tightly, that it warps the gasket! If you have trouble removing a screw-on lid, that should be a warning to you that you have screwed it on way too tightly. When screwing it on, as soon as you encounter resistance, stop screwing the lid on! that means it has made contact with the silicone gasket and has been sealed. To tighten it any further runs the risk of warping the seal which will inevitably lead to leaks! The sip hole cover locks down really snugly. Unlike some covers that you can just pop open with your thumb or finger, this one takes a little effort, and that is how it should be, if you expect to not have a spill if the tumbler happens to fall over. This should be considered a feature, not a fault. If you can readily pop the lid with your thumb or finger, then you should not be surprised if it pops open when the tumbler is accidentally knocked over onto a hard surface! The ceramic coating is thin but I believe with a little care, it should be just fine. I wouldn’t use metal utensils to stir with but that is just me. For my purposes (hot coffee or iced tea) stirring is not necessary anyway. The 20 oz. size is easy to hold on to. I have average sized hands and do not ever see a need for a handle for this tumbler. And it fits the cup holder in my truck just fine.As to how long it will keep hot liquids hot, I really can’t say. I only put 16 ounces of coffee in it at any one time and I drink coffee fairly fast, so I can only say that the coffee stays quite hot until I finish it, normally a couple of hours before it’s time for a refill. The silicone bottom is a nice touch. It is quiet and the tumbler feels very strong and secure when you set it on a table or desk.I have no problem recommending this tumbler. The price is unbeatable for a mug/tumbler of this quality, in my opinion, and easily stands its own against the higher priced Yeti.

Very nice for the price
Best insulated cup Ive used. The slick ceramic on the inside definitely is better for the flavor than a bare stainless steel tumbler. It also cleans up with little more than faucet pressure and warm water. Havent used the lid, but the screw on is a good design as it will stay on if dropped or tipped

The perfect travel mug!
Perfect for several reasons: 1) Ceramic interior–no metallic taste, 2) leakproof (doesn’t leak even when you turn it upside down), 3) quality build, 4) high-grip steel exterior, 5) fits in standard mug receptacle, and 6) beautiful colors. RTIC hit a home run with this one.

Good cup but not perfect
The cup is good and I have been enjoying it, it’s just not perfect. Below are may likes and dislikes…Likes:-The inside is ceramic and not metal-Rubber bottom keeps cup in place when I set it on uneven surfaces-Lid doesn’t seem to leak and locks in place well-Fits in cupholderDislikes:-I don’t think it keeps ice quite as well as some of the other tumblers I have tried HOWEVER, I get what I need out of it. I don’t need the same ice in my cup for 2 days. I get most of the day before needing to add some supplementary ice.-I prefer to not use a straw and this lid can be uncomfortable to drink fromIf the price is right, I would buy this cup again. Like I said, I like it but it’s not perfect.

Gorgeous color, no metal taste
The color on this tumbler is simply gorgeous. I am one of the lucky few people that can taste the steel when I drink out of a stainless tumbler. The ceramic lining allows me to still use a stainless tumbler without the metallic taste and have hot coffee for hours. I also love that the drink hole will allow me to use large glass straw.

How to fix any odor issues
I was going to leave a bad review because I got a cup with a weird chemical odor, but I contacted Rtic customer service first and I’m glad I did. A very helpful rep told me to soak the cup in warm water with a tablespoon of either baking soda OR vinegar for about an hour. She said it should get rid of the smell and to contact them again if that didn’t work. I tried the vinegar first, and it helped, but didn’t get rid of the smell completely. The baking soda did the trick! So glad I didn’t have to return the cup because I really love it. Great color and it keeps my tea hot on my daily commute.

Amazing!
Awesome mug! Love Artic stays cold forever! Don’t do a lot of hot drinks but when I do will update with time it stays hot. Ceramic inside is easy to clean and size is perfect for my needs may be a little big for smaller hands but they do make handles. Definitely worth the money! Plan on buying 3 more or maybe even more in the near future! Seller is also amazing had a minor issue with shipping and even in the middle of the holidays the seller got everything fixed!
