Bought this to grind coffee for espresso. But the grind at the finest level is still chunky. The machine works fine but if you’re buying it to make espresso this is NOT what you want. The description is misleading.

I received this grinder in February so I waited a bit before doing a review. I haven’t had any issues with it and have ground up a few bags of coffee at once without it overheating and stopping on me like the last one I had. It’s not crazy loud either and it looks pretty cool at my little coffee station. I started a small business of roasting coffee and this has done well for my customers that want it ground.

I just bought this so we’ll see how well it holds up over time but so far its great! No more ‘cardio workout’ hand grinding my quail feed every morning. its fast, good size for table top space saving, grinds in under 2 mins so multiple hoppers to grind for more animals would be no problem. A daily grind is better nutritionally than grinding a bunch at a time. I do it after morning feed add a splash of acv and just enough water to stick together and the next morning I have nicely fermented feed they love. Nice looking, about as noisy as my meat grinder or a juicer. I haven’t opened it up so idk but I imagine it comes apart and back together easily (?).

I did not expect the same build quality as my previous KitchenAid grinder, but I did not expect it to stall so easily. As far as the good, the grinder plates seem to be pretty good and the varying levels are more than adequate. However, having to routinely take the front cover off because it has stalled due to the grind wedged/lodged is a hassle. Perhaps I just got a dud, but the motor just seems too weak.

I have had this grinder for almost 2 years and during that time it has clogged perhaps two times. The only regret I have is not buying the upgraded version which has the stainless steel coffee grounds container (which suppresses the accumulation of static electricity, I just flick a few drops of water into the coffee bean bin instead).

I bought this as a gift. Kind of wish I’d boxed up mine and kept this one. I understand they’re very happy with this.

This is a , bigger than expected, grinder that is easy to use , not much noise , well made , solid . This one is metal , with a little weight . This grinds , not chop , or cut up . You can grind the coffee into dust , where it’s hard to handle , floats or gets everywhere. I had a manual hand grinder that works great, but surgery on my shoulder makes it difficult. I’ve had this grinder a short time but , I love it . You need to grind coffee with burrs , not blades . Machine looks good also . Thanks .

Showed up on time and as advertised. 5-stars for that part. It’s a little smaller than I expected, but not a deal breaker – actually a plus if you have limited counter space. The variety on the grind did what I expected, 1= very fine, 10 = course. For “pre-ground drip coffee” equivalent, use #2 setting. Static is a thing, and is worse as the grind gets finer, but that’s going to happen with anything that is burr ground. The fit and finish is pretty good – better than I expected, but nearly the entire thing is plastic so I can’t expect it to last very long. The nature of a burr grinder puts a lot of stress on the parts that hold it together, and in this case it is all plastic. The fact that it came with not one, but three replacement fuses has me either overflowing with gratitude, or suspicious about the quality of the motor windings. All that is somewhat conjecture because I’ve only used it for a day now. Here’s why I didn’t give it 5 stars: they put the little stupid on/off switch ON THE BACK, UNDER THE MOTOR!! Like where you’d hide a spare house key, or a dirty magazine, where no one would ever find it even if they were looking for it. Plan on leaving a lot of room on either side of it to reach around and fumble around trying to find the switch. This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. Maybe I’ll get used to it after a while – if it lasts that long.
