Nice quality, works great, looks expensive – furniture type finish
My wife and I wanted a tray to use when we eat on the sofa and watch TV (which is always the case). Most trays look cheap and you want to hide them when not in use. Our end tables and the wood finishes on all our furniture is a dark stain. Again, most trays are light color and would totally clash with our furniture and as they say, “stick out like a sore thumb”. When I saw these trays with the option for a dark finish, I knew they were a must and would match our furniture and be a great purchase – DONE. The wood appears to be hand stained so you have some color variations which is actually good as it blends nicely with our wood finishes and even our dark stained wood floors. The bean bag style cushion is perfect as it adjust easily to your legs and makes keep things balances / even easy. You will notice this snaps off for cleaning. The side handles make it easy to pickup and move the tray. Both trays fit nicely in the basket that came with them. It is a lighter color, but is neutral enough it goes ok. We keep the basket and trays sitting beside our end table next to the sofa. They are easy to grab and use. The front ledge of the tray is lower (about 3/4 inch) – just enough to keep things from sliding off and yet not interfere with the use. I was concerned about the wood finish but it is holding up nicely. If you get a nick or ding in the wood, you can easily use a furniture touch up felt pen made for furniture finishes. We did buy clear plastic place mats to help protect the inside of the tray from spills or hot plates, or beverage glasses. However, we defaulted to just using a nice dishtowel for that purpose. We’ll look for a nicer cloth placemat – keeping in mind thought it needs to be smaller than typical ones as those are slightly too large. Bottom line, the tray is very good quality, has a nice expense look and serves the purpose. [Note to readers – lighter wood finish and color also available for this product. You will find this tray is made by the same company that makes the Lapgear products. Basically this one more home use, and lapgear more appealing to the computer laptop use purpose. On that note Lapgear actually makes a larger (flat) lap desk in the similar color and exact same pillow material – – all matches these trays. Yes, we also bought that laptop desk so all can be mix and match items in our family room. Both items available on Amazon. Enjoy

Cute, charming, and so useful!
I bought these for use in the living room during meal times/snack times. The handles are really nice and sturdy, making using them super easy. Easily supports stonewear plates and cups and such! Cleaning them is really simple as well, just wipe down the top when you’re done. If you need to clean the pillow just snap it apart from the tray with the buttons and give it a wash.These trays are much nicer to use than folding trays. Besides, folding trays take up a lot of space when you’re not using them even when you fold them up and put them away. They’re awkward to use and can easily get knocked over on accident.Honestly I had no idea these existed until last year when I bought them. It’s so much nicer to just have your comfy pillow in your lap with your tray and eat anyway. It has a nicer feel. Cozy.On the other more crafty side. I like to make amigurumi and other yarn creations, and I find having this in my lap makes working on the couch really nice as I can have all my tools organized right there in my lap and not worry about losing tiny stitch markers into the couch or a tiny needle falling out of my case and sticking me later on down the road because it fell onto the couch cushions and bit me in my behind later XDThis would also make a lovely laptop work station for people who often fly or like to work sitting up in bed late at night. Or for those late night readers who are maybe reading a heavy thick book that gets to be annoying to hold up when you’re tired XDAnyway, It is totally worth the money. Once you get one you honestly will wonder why you didn’t know about these sooner. These are super super cute as well. I don’t mind having it sitting off to the side somewhere because it looks really nice :DSO GLAD I got these!

What a Gem!! Bought two. My mother lives in assisted living and loves to eat her meals while she watches her favorite shows. These TV Trays are incredibly well thought out.The tray edge is shaped taller in the back and thin up front making access a pleasure compared to others. The pillow on the bottom is filled with beads like a bean bag so it conforms to your lap, and if your thighs are a little sloped while sitting, itâs no problem, just tilt some more beads to the knee side and itâs level. The cushion is a high wear woven fabric that is spill and stain resistant treated, and in the event you make a mess you simply unsnap it from the bottom of the tray and clean it. Very light weight and the construction and woodworking is high quality and is properly sealed. These will last for many years. When not in use they stand on end next to the recliners leaned up against the end tables, completely out of the way. I also purchased two thin silicone baking sheets that fit perfectly inside and keeps everything from sliding around. The combination is perfect!!!

This is a great tray, itâs super light weight, you can hardly feel it in your lap. Itâs beautifully made and serves itâs purpose well. I really appreciate the fact that the side that faces you does not have a side rail on it, which makes this lap table more comfortable to eat at or or do some writing all while lounging in my recliner. Itâs also not as baulky as having a tv tray to store. Exactly as shown in picture. You wonât regret this purchase

This is such a magnificent lap tray. Writing this after 2 years of every day use by multiple family members and it still performs and looks as good as day 1. Brilliant quality solid wood top and a comfy bottom full of poly balls. The handles on the sides are a nice touch. I love it. Youâll love it. Get one
