    Great quality
Got one many years ago and needed a second one. Just what I was hoping to find. Easy to hang on the side of the coffee maker.

    Excellent measuring spoon for coffee!
I make very strong coffee using two tablespoons Massimo Zanetti Master Chef ground coffee and one tablespoon Café Du Monde Coffee and Chicory with 500ml Ozarka Natural Spring Water at the ideal brewing temperature of 200-degrees Fahrenheit using the French Press Method, which is sufficiently strong to be dangerous for folks who do not have the South American Coffee Achiever Gene Matrix and are not rapid caffeine metabolizers.I like this tablespoon, because it’s a handy length and works nicely.

    ten years and going strong
I’m not much of a review writer, but wanted to give my experience in defense of this scoop. Amazon says I last bought this scoop in 2009, so that makes 12 years of daily use. Each and every time I use it I enjoy using it. The proportions are “right” for me, the finish remains perfect (coffee grounds don’t stick to the inside of the bowl), and I just like it. I see the dark rings at the joint between the bowl and the handle that one reviewer mentioned as rust – I always assumed they were discoloration from brazing the two pieces together. In any case, whatever it is hasn’t spread or affected the finish in any way – the joint is still smooth and shiny. I like this scoop enough that now – 12 years later – when I want another scoop for another location I am coming back to gladly part with $15 in exchange for this little bit of “just right” ness in my day.

Not a standard US coffee scoop
This is a very nice scoop as long as you know how much it holds. I was making coffee with this for a long time and didn’t understand why I needed so much more than the recommended amount. It wasn’t until I bought a coffee grinder and needed to measure the coffee by weight that I realized this scoop was not the measurement I thought it was. When I measured my coffee by weight and saw how much more was in the filter than usual, I decided to measure the volume of the Rosle scoop. A traditional US coffee scoop is 2TB because that is how much is recommended per coffee cup. How many ounces in a coffee cup vary by country and therefore by manufacturer of the coffee maker but in the US it is standard that for each cup of coffee that your coffee maker brews you should use 2TB of ground coffee. This is also the standard recommendation on your bag of coffee beans/grounds as well. This is why all “coffee scoops” are 2TB in volume, so it’s easy to measure 1 scoop per cup of water in your machine. However, this Rosle scoop holds .6 TB or 1.8 tsp, which is hardly a useable measurement if you are trying to be fairly exact in following the recommended ratios of water to coffee given by your coffee maker manufacturer or the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA). I guess if you wanted to be really precise then you’d be weighing your coffee but if you’re buying a designated coffee scoop, you are at least trying to go by the directions on your coffee or coffee maker. Most people should be expecting a 2TB scoop and getting one 1/2 that size would still be doable by doubling the scoops per cup, but being that this is .6 TB, it’s not going to be the recommended amount of coffee without a lot of math. If you are someone that has your recipe for coffee and this measurement works for you, it’s a great quality spoon. I really love how the spoon is able to hang on a tiny command hook in my coffee cupboard and it’s comfortable to use, but it’s no longer useful to brew coffee. However, I started using instant coffee when my machine needed to be sent away for repairs and this scoop is a terrific size for a travel mug of instant coffee (1 scoop for about 12-14 oz water) and also for measuring out hot cocoa mix so you don’t have to measure with the same spoon you’re stirring with in case you need to add more cocoa after the first stir (can’t put a wet spoon back in the cocoa tin). When I start using my coffee maker again, I don’t know if I’ll do the math and figure out how many scoops I need per pot or if I’ll start weighing the coffee. I don’t really want to replace it since it’s so nice and has lasted so long, but I might have to. If this scoop was actually made for coffee then a coffee cup must be very small in Germany. FYI…the description on this scoop says it measures 7grams which is odd since that is a weight and not a volume but if you measure your coffee by weight that may be helpful.

Gran calidad. Al recibirla me pareció de pequeña capacidad, pero es la forma que tiene, que engaña a la vista. Comprobado que dosifica correctamente. Algo cara, espero que dure de por vida. Volvería a comprar la misma
