    My favorite one thus far
I have purchased about a dozen Rolife miniature kits, and some of them have been more easy than others. Some of them have been more intricate and detailed than the easy ones. This one was definitely time-consuming, tedious, intricate, and the most amount of fun. I loved the design Layout of the walls themselves so much that I had so much fun on the inside. I added the plexiglass to the sunroom windows because I just didn’t think it would last without breaking without anything else helping it be stable. Also, I added plexiglass to the back windows as well just so everything matched, and I am in complete in love with this kit. Added a few Things of personalization in there such as a little bucket of scraps, a little coffee cup on the table and things like that. I enjoy putting little moss in various places and especially have a thing for vines so those I’ve also added.

Wow this was annoying and amazing.
I read the reviews about this thing being insanely time consuming and being a little difficult, but I didn’t believe them. This thing took me about 40 hours to complete. I sat at my desk determined to finish this thing. I was inhaling so much glue that this project made me crazy. (Please craft in a well ventilated area unlike I did). I consistently worked on this so much that when I finished I didn’t even want to look at it.But I love it. It’s so beautiful and not perfect which is perfect. I am beyond impressed with all the things you have to create and so happy with all of the tools included. Some of the instructions were a little confusing and there were some spelling and grammatical errors but it’s kind of easy to figure out if you keep referencing the photos. This is your diy kit anyways so have fun with it and throw some extra “grass” in spots. This is a 10/10 addition to my bookcase. I will do another one of these in the future.

    Perfect Kit – Medium Difficulty
This kit is amazing. This was my first miniature project and this is a hobby I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember. I can’t remember the last time I felt so motivated to complete something just because it brings me joy.The instructions were easy enough to follow, but having almost no experience with papercrafting, I needed my VERY EXEPRIENCED girlfriends help for a few of the flowers and other paper craft bits. The big wood pieces used for the structure were a bit warped which made final assembly a bit difficult, but I made it work! It would have been a million times easier with some clamps, so maybe get some of those before you start.I bought a small gundam/miniature toolkit, some clear Tacky glue, and a bottle of Gorilla wood glue to complete this project. It comes with some glue and tweezers, but I found it really beneficial to have some heartier tweezers and a pair of pliers and wire cutters for all of the wire work. You could complete the project without any supplemental items, but I spent < $20 to make the project a lot easier and a lot closer to the pictures. At one point I foolishly pasted the flooring to the wrong side of the floor and had to run to a craft store and lucked out that they had a piece of loose scrapbook paper that looked like tiny bricks! Finally, this is a great distraction from anything you don’t want to think about. This was a very soft landing place for my brain on good and bad days! Also, this stuff takes forever. I watched all of Downton Abbey, a whole season of Mrs. Maisel, and a myriad of Disney movies and episodes of the Good Place while working on this.Overall, this was the most fun I’ve had doing anything in a long long time. Sometimes I’s spend more than ten hours a day working on this. It’s hard to tear yourself away from something that makes you feel so accomplished 🙂

This was so awesome to do!
This was such a fun craft! This was my very first miniature. Way way more fun than i anticipated. I thought the directions were so easy, the product was so well made & organized so well with all the labels. I every bought another one for my sister. My husband & sister didn’t think I’d finish it as I’m a bit impatient with small things, but oddly enough I found it to be sooo relaxing & cathartic while doing it. I’ve been stressed lately and boy did that really help with it. I was so proud when it was done as I did everything myself, I don’t want any help. But, i was sad too that it was all done. My kit didn’t come with glue, it came with 2 sided tape that frankly was ridiculously unusable. So I tossed that right away for some good crafting glue. Way easier! Also, make sure everything is glued down good before putting the actual house sides up or everything will jostle around & your hands won’t fit in there to fix it. If you’re on the fence about getting it, you really should, you won’t regret it! I want more!

    Good kit / Need patience
If you have the patience, go for it. I did finish this project, and it turned out well. However, I ended up buying dollhouse plants to go inside it because I kept getting frustrated with the crepe paper and glue. Just a mess. It took forever, but that’s because I started in late winter, and when spring arrived, I wanted to be outside. Just finished this month. This is definitely an inside when you are bored project. The instructions are fairly good. Some of the wood pieces are a bit warped and didn’t fit quite right, but I made do. Not a project I will repeat, but it was OK while it lasted. Very proud to display it on my bookshelf. I have more fun with my real houseplants tho.

I have purchased one of these miniature houses kits from Rolife before but in store, i was happy i was able to order another kit online. I noticed immediately once I started putting the shelf together that the quality is garbage compare to the one I assembled before. At least several pieces have cracked and I haven’t used excess pressure and I have come across my first miss match. I confirmed the numbers on the bag to the instruction manual; the piece has 4 tabs instead of three, the picture in the diagram displays 4 but the hard piece of “wood” only has space for 3 tabs… pretty disappointed considering I’m only on page 8/34 and I’ve come across so many issues.

  10. love that

It does look intimidating at first but it is fascinating seeing it come together. ❤ The detail will have you day dreaming just stepping inside and looking at everything over and over again. Thanks 😊

This took me probably 40 hours over a couple months. I love how it turned out. Some of my plants are not where they’re supposed to be but that’s ok! Looks great anyway.Only complaint is the 2 sided tape. It just doesnt stick. I used my own craft glue to keep things permanently in place.
