Handy kit to save money and reduce waste
Iâve never been a fan of machines that use pods due to the waste and expensive cost. However, after I discovered reusable pod kits, I ordered a Nespresso Vertuo machine and began refilling my used pods.Iâve tried a few Reusable coffee pods kits and so far the SWEETDEER Reusable & Refillable Coffee Pods Kit is the best since itâs includes everything you need and works really well.First of all, this kit includes a really handy foil remover. I discovered that cleaning the pods is the most challenging and time consuming part of the process. However, the included blade on the base of this pod holder does a good job removing the foils. Once you start making your own pods with the included seals, it will then become easier to clean due to the handy pull tab on the sticker. When using the stickers from this kit, all you need to do is pull them off (without needing the blade).Secondly, adding coffee grounds into the pods with the included 2-in-1 scoop and tamper also helps make the refilling process easy. The cover to the holder not only does a nice job creating a good seal as you turn it, but it also creates a funnel while filling so you donât make a mess.Making new pods with the kit does take some practice to position them correctly on the pods. Sometimes the stickers may overlap a bit on one side if you donât position it correctly but since it doesnât cover the barcode, the machine can read it.Lastly, this kit arrives with an easy to read instruction manual with pictures, a 180 day warranty, and information on how to contact the seller.Overall, Iâm very happy with this kit and recommend it to coffee connoisseurs interested in saving money, reducing waste, and/or prefer coffee flavors that are not available in a pod.

Too finicky and time consuming
Sealing these pods properly is a frustrating process. If you apply too much pressure when sealing the foil, the plastic slightly scores the foil, which tears when the Nespresso machine clamps down â which often results in coffee grounds leaking out.Out of 10 pods, 2 failed to extract coffee properly, and every single one had foil tearing and excess grounds visible after brewing.Additionally, be very careful when handling the underside of the bottom part used for scoring old pods â thereâs a hidden blade that could easily cause injury.I own a stainless steel reusable pod that doesnât have these issues, so this was a disappointment. The amount of time spent re-sealing and troubleshooting makes this more hassle than itâs worth.

Money saver!
Great option for vertuo pops. The foils are easy to peel and put on, and it comes with a great amount at 60ct. The added tamper on the scoop is a cool little add on. Only complain I have is that the cutter doesn’t really work well. My pops get stuck, so I haven’t really been using that feature. Other than that, great kit!
