I have purchased several different ones over the years that have leaked, put grounds in my coffee, and were difficult to use . This one is so easy works great every time! Easy to clean .

Saves Money
This saves money over the Kerig cups. So why not use this? You will need to grind your own coffee but that is not too tough and your coffee will be fresh. I don’t drink coffee but my husband does once a day.

Functions well, Environmentally Effective, Cost Effective
Well constructed stainless steel with filter size holes. Functions well. Very fine coffee grounds get through filter. Gasket at top is effective in preventing leaks; do not remove as recommended by one person.. Enables use of fresh medium ground coffee at 20% the cost of K cups. Only downside is that, of course, it needs to be cleaned out and refilled manually after each use. Cleans out nicely under a stream of water from the faucet albeit is messy to do. Refill to 7/8 to avoid grounds from getting into coffee maker; would be helpful to have a slender, compact pour spout included to facilitate getting coffee from the bag and filling the filter cup. Update: Paper insert filter keeps fine grounds from getting thru. Must push paper down to avoid paper on lip which jams the coffee maker closing mechanism. Paint/plymer CV oating on top of lip is starting to wear after 50 uses. Silicone seal on underside of lip shows no degradation.

They work for single cup Keurig!
If you want to brew your own coffee, these work fine! I also like that they are steel and not plastic!

Updated review: style has changed
Update: changed to 1 star! I reordered a new set and the ones I received are AWFUL! They are not the same as the ones I originally purchased. These came with extra seals that are thicker and foil stickers that it said to cover the lid with. I tried without the sticker and it was a disasterâ¦coffee grounds oozed outside my machine and into my cup. I was so frustrated I did not take a pic. I had to unplug my machine and wash the pod section under the faucet! I attempted again with the foil and again the coffee grounds oozed out, only a lesser amount this time, I will be returning. I donât have the time to deal with a m as everyday plus who knows what will happen to the foil they sent? Washing the cup will most likely deteriorate it.I started using these to avoid microplastics. They work great (I also purchased paper liners). I used a can of organic coffee and drink it black and even the same brand of coffee tastes much better using one of these. I have not had grounds in my cup even one time and I am saving so much money not using a store bought K-cup! I did purchase the 2 pack to make it easy to let one cool off before throwing out the grounds. Great purchase!

better than the plastic alternative
We have a keurig at work and I try to avoid using the k-cups/plastic that go with these but I need coffee sometimes! So this was a great way to have the convenience of k-cups without the wasteful plastic. Works great!

Great alternative to plastic k cups!
