Decent reusable pod
After reading other reviews I still had to experiment a bit to get it to work decently. A few things I noted:1. You won’t get the same flavor out of these disposable pods as you do from the pre-made ones. This, as has been noted in other reviews, is because the coffee in the store bought pods is PACKED in there in a way that just can’t be done by hand.2. Finely ground coffee did not work at all in my machine. Maybe this varies from one model to the next but in my Essenza Mini, using fine ground coffee caused the pod to get clogged up and water to just barely drip through. This happened whether I tamped it or not. Using course ground coffee worked okay but it would start to slow the flow if I tamped it down more than just a little bit.I haven’t tried the lid hack with tinfoil from the other review yet but it seems like that might allow you to get more coffee in there. I may have to give it a try. That is how the newer reusable pods all work so maybe they’re on to something.Overall, I’m happy with this little pod. The coffee it makes isn’t as good as the pre-packed pods but it’s good enough for at least part of the time.

Doesn’t fit all machines
I purchased this particular reusable Nespresso pod as I watched a review video stating this one would work in the Instant coffee espresso machine. It fits however the lid will not close and I was afraid I was going to break the machine getting it closed.

No brew. Water wonât pass through.
The idea is great. The result, not so much. I have the Nepresso essenza mini machine. I was worried the pod wouldnât fit, but that wasnât an issue at all. I can only get about two to three drips of coffee to come out. Iâve tried a course ground coffee vs. finely ground. Iâve tried tamping vs. not tamping. Iâve even tried to fill it up with coffee about halfway. For whatever reason the machine canât force the water through the pod. The only time water came through was when there was no coffee at all, which obviously defeats the purpose. I have no idea, but Iâm returning it. Hope this can help someone else.

Lid did not work, but hereâs a fix for it!
Poorly designed lid, the water does not pass through. I thought it was my machine at first and even got a new one but then I noticed it was the lid not allowing the water to make a decent espresso shot ðBut if you put some foil on top to seal it instead of the actual lid itâll work.

Work for Nespresso
This item has worked great for loading my own espresso into the Nespresso machine.I’m still figuring out exactly the right pressure to apply for the best brew, but I’m really happy that this product fits perfectly and allows me to reuse the pod.

Worked fine then didnât
We really wanted to like this. So much waste with the pods but after about a week of using it and making good espresso it the coffee just ran clear. Guess weâre back to the recycle route. Bummer.
