They worked
Both these for my new nespresso machine. And yes, they did fit just fine. You may have to rotate them depending on your machine because of the fold over clip and pull open tab. But that is easy to find depending on your machine. Don’t over pack your coffee ground. If you do, it will bypass the pod and end up in the bottom of your drip out tray or not pump through at all depending on your psi of the pump. Just do not apply too much pressure to your coffee ground when filling. I like that it came with 6 I can go ahead. Send measure out and do all of them so that we both have 3 days of coffee ready to go. The coffee scoop comes in handy for scooping out and pressing. The brush worked very well for clearing off the edge of the pod. If you’re wanting to use your own coffee. These are what you need to do it. Good quality should last be many years. Price was right for what you received.

While not an everyday go-to, these are great to have around in the rare instances when you run out of the premade pods. The reason I say they’re not for everyday (for us), is they’re just a bit too much work when you’re in a hurry – and we’re always in a hurry. Especially in the mornings.It does take some messing around trial-and-error to get it just right, and you may end up having unsuccessful first attempts. But once you figure out how much to fill them and how to place them into your machine, they work fine.

Too bad. Itâs a great idea if it worked for me. I don’t know what coffee bean I’d need to buy to feel I’ve had a non-watery americano…..however, yes, the re-fillable capsules did work.

I ordered these reusable Nespresso coffee pods for two reasons, firstly to save money on buying official pods and secondly to do my bit for the environment!Inside the box you get 6 reusable pods, a small cleaning brush and a handy coffee scoop. I chose to use pre-ground coffee in the pods which is a lot cheaper than buying individual pods. Filling the pods was extremely easy with the scoop. They fitted my machine without issue and the water flow was just as good as a genuine pod, however this is where the similarities stopped unfortunately. The coffee produced was super weak and almost undrinkable. I decided to add another pod to the cuppa and still it was too weak for my liking. I ended up using 3 pods to get something that resembled a decent cuppa or to put it another way, to resemble one official pod coffee. I have done some research around these reusable pods and the recommendation is to ensure the grind is very fine to allow the water to penetrate the coffee more, which means you may have to grind your own beans to achieve this.In principal i love the idea of these, working out the cost calculation, even having to use 3 pods vs 1 i worked it out to still be a saving compared to buying a 10 pack of normal pods, and the environmental impact is clearly better.Cleaning the pods was also very simple using the included brush and some running water.Would i recommend these pods to others, well if you want a quick fix in your coffee without the faff then no however if you have time to spare, care about the environment and are willing to use around 3 pods to one cuppa then yes!
