These work great
I read some of these reviews and all I can say is WAAAAH. So you have to stick a pen in the bottom to pop the filter out. This filter fits my filtron cold brew system just as well as the twice as expensive filtron filters. I use those cheap compatible filters on top of these to prolong their life. Well worth the price. That’s the only thing those “compatible” filters are good for. Second, I use a milk bag to filter the grind. Most of the pre-ground coffees are full of grind dust making mud when you cold brew it. Hence the multiple filters. Some of you may not be as critical of their home brew as i am. I’ve been cold brewing years before it became popular and used to grind my own. If you grind I suggest a good burr grinder and absolutely not a blade grinder. Blade grinders produce quite a bit of dust which, as I said, turns to mud and clogs your filters making them junk, having to be changed long before they should be. Just to be clear, this is how I cold brew. I’m not telling anyone else how to do it, just making suggestions that some might find useful.

Great repleacement
Fits perfectly snug just like the original pads that came with the Filtron system. I don’t miss the pull tab, just a quick poke through the outlet hole with a chopstick or straw is all it takes to easily pop it out.For reference, I get about dozen brews out of each pad before it’s fully spent (I do not use any additional paper filters and grind my own beans with a burr grinder)

No small tab on top
Normally the filters have a little tab attached to top so you can grab it easy. These do not have the tab and they are a bit oversized compared to the filters that came with the filtron.

Filters don’t fit coffee maker
I have been using filtron filters for at least 30 years. The quality of the last ones that I ordered is pathetic!! First thing I noticed was that they were lacking the tab to help you remove the filter from the container after use. But much worse, they don’t fit. They are too large to snugly fit in the container. So when you remove the filter a huge amount of coffee grounds leaks out around the edges where there is no seal. I shouldn’t have to run the coffee through a strainer because of a defective product. Too late to return.

Works OK but not as good as Filtron brand
Works well enough but the fit isn’t quite as nice as the Filtron brand and it doesn’t have a pull tab for removal. The frustration isn’t worth the cost savings.

These are very similar to the filtron filters for cold brew. They just donât have the little tab to pull them out with. But I havenât found it a problem. Weâve been using this filter with a paper filter over top of it, and itâs been amazing. Highly recommend!
