I. C. Hopkins Company –
Reinmoson 2 Pack Tea Ball Infuser for Loose Tea
So far, this seems to be an excellent stainless steel infuser, at least in my opinion. The 2 parts connect tightly onto each other yet provide flexibility when disconnecting the 2 parts. I did not have much trouble fastening the top to the bottom part. The construction is outstanding (micro-holes are smooth not jagged steel, very easy to clean & separate), the chain is constructed very, very well, and not like some cheap, junkie & flimsy chain that will break after a few uses. In addition, I absolutely LOVE that it can retract inside the infuser!!! I have noted no discoloration whatsoever of the product in the 25 or so times I have made tea. Still looks like new.The only minor thing that I have found is that if your tea is really cut up small (fine), then you’ll likely have a minute amount of tea debris/sediment/leaves floating in your tea. I use this infuser with my South African Rooibos (Red Bush) tea leaves, my White Teas, my Japanese Green Tea, and my Whole Tea Leaves of Red Rose Bud (whole buds) & Red Rose Petals. All in all, I find this Tea Infuser to be EXCELLENT in all regards, with the extremely minute exception of the tea debris/leaves sometimes leaking out the top. But I really consider this a minor nuisance and I will not dock a star for that. I had the pleasure of corresponding with Oliver, the Amazon Seller of this, and he assures me that there is a new, updated model which improved on the design so that the top and bottom parts open and close much easier. When I receive that model, I will post a review of that infuser on Amazon. But if I were to buy THIS particular model all over again, I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone and would POSITIVELY purchase this again & again!!!

Excellent infuser
I’ve had these for 2 years. They are holding up great! The tiny holes make it perfect for fine teas. One word of caution, if you put the water in fast, the tea may float out of the hole where the chain goes through the lid. You can either pour the tea slowly or put the water in first and dunk it in slowly.

Not good for tea with small particles.
This is a good product it’s real stainless steel. But as you can see from the picture, it didn’t filter out everything. Best if used with larger tea leaves.

Forget tea bags and mesh infusers!
This infuser is a game changer for me and hopefully you will love it too. For the longest time I used one time use tea bags everyday and they work just fine, but I wanted to slowly get away from using them all the time and getting the most out of my tea, like with mesh infusers, but without the tea debris that I get from that type of infuser.I have been using this for about a month now, and it works great! My initial worry was it falling apart as soon as it hits the hot water, because how the top lid is designed to grip, but no, it holds up just fine and cleanup is a breeze, as long as the infuser is still a little warm. If you let it sit like I do, it can take a sec to get the spent tea out.In summary, great infuser that does not leak any tea leaves and a great way to cut out tea bags for loose leaf teas! Cheers!

Great for your herbs
Love this little ball for my own herbal teas. However, even as tiny as the holes are (and they are tiny!) when I empty a bag into it, the bagged tea is literally powder and quite a bit will seep thru into the water. This doesn’t bother me, but be aware if it bothers you. It’s not the tea ball’s fault, as I said, the holes are really tiny…it’s the bagged tea company using powder instead of leaves. I like the quality and the stainless steel material. The chain is delicate, but if you aren’t rough it should last a long time.

My favorite tea ball
Works really well. The chain retracts into the ball when not in use (smart because then it doesnât catch on anything) and the chain is also attached well so you use it it pop the top off to fill it or empty it. Quality stainless steel. Rinses easily when youâre done.

Great if you like tea on the floor. Lids do not stay on
I so wanted to love these. They were rated so highly?! The lids do not stay on at all! They completely fall off the moment you pull up on the lid with nothing even in them.Pour in tea leaves. Place lid on. Lift to put in cup. Tea everywhere. Ugh!Iâve tried every angle, every side and even made my hubby try thinking I must be crazy. They have no lip or rim to keep the lid on. Such a waste of money â and now I have to clean tea leaves up.If you prefer your tea on the floor then these are perfect! I however prefer mine in a cup.
