Beautiful
Not only is the pattern beautiful, the elements of the kit are well-designed and well-made. I’ve worked counted cross stitch for years. This is my first printed pattern. The images printed on the cloth are very clear and easily differentiated. Even the edge of the cloth has been stitched and fused to prevent raveling. There is plenty of clearly labeled floss, two tapestry needles and, even with the pattern printed on the cloth, they include a sheet with the pattern printed on paper, backed with vinyl, fully detailed, with all symbols explained. Highy recommended.

Fun so far!
I was gifted this craft and for a super beginner it feels like a lot when looking at the pattern (if you do Dimond paintings this will be familiar actully). I was not expecting the threads to a pre cut size which was a bit long for a beginner but you quickly get the Grove of that. Having everything in the kit but a frame made it easy to get started and having the paper pattern plus the pattern printed on the cloth makes it easy to travel with. The warning about water before finishing I have yet to test but having the paper to look at should that happen puts your mind at ease should you need it. So far I’m enjoying it and while I’m not into the multiple colors area yet it’s not so daunting that I can’t do it. PS… get you some sharp scissors to trim your tails or cut knots as that’s the only thing not in the kit.

Picture when 7/8 done.
There have been some questions about how the picture on this product compares to the actual. I have really enjoyed working on this–it is pretty intricate and makes the most of 32 colors. However, there have been some discrepancies. Not all the designs are present. The colors are sometimes a bit different. For example, the picture of the product shows a checkerboard design above the duck’s head. Just a solid on the tapestry. The groundhog above the fox does not stand out nearly as well as in the picture. I intend to go back with a lighter shade of floss to see if it could pop more. I also ran out of color #7 and had to raid my stash of embroidery floss to replace it. But, all in all, if it still looks this good after I finish and wash it, I will be happy with this purchase.
