I really did not expect a lot from this as the price was so much cheaper than others I looked at and I was so surprised it’s heavy but well made and looks fantastic makes a good cuppa and very good quality definitely recommend

Beautiful and functional
Teapot is gorgeous. Color is slightly muted giving it an heirloom quality rather than a mass produced look. I used it on the stovetop (electric radiant) and it worked fine but you have to have a small burner to match the teapot base. Same size as a small sauce pot. Inside is ceramic lined and the infuser is a fine mesh screen of stainless steel which goes low enough into the pot to work even for one cup of water. My only minor complaint is that the lid is cast iron and the lid handle got too hot to touch. I don’t like boiling my tea leaves (makes the tea bitter). I prefer to add the tea leaves after the water is hot, which requires lifting the tea pot lid after it is hot. A napkin was enough insulation to lift the lid to add my tea. Teapot pours smoothly without dribbling. It is a functional showpiece that I will use when I entertain tea drinking guests.

We got a Dribbler
So I’ve been going through teapots like crazy due to kids and people liking to drop my glass teapots. I needed something sturdier. This teapot is a great deal for the price. I’ve had mine for a month now. The heat retention is better than most teapots. You can warm the pot up on the stove but expect some browning on the bottom like you get with most pots and pans. I only have one issue with this pot and it’s the way it pours. It’s got a nice stream when pouring but the issue happens when you lift the pot up to stop the pour. You get dribbles down the spout down the side of the pot. If you use a tea cozy or a warmer of some sort this can cause a mess. I’ve begun pouring my tea while holding a towel under the spout to prevent spills. I have noticed some staining from these spills forming under the spout. Over time, I expect it to get worse, but if you don’t really care about the look of the teapot it’s a minor issue at best.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I bought this, but I absolutely love it! This is my second month with it, and it still is as good as the day it arrived. The handle gets a bit hot, but that is to be expected with cast iron. Very good quality, and looks just as it does in the photos. I would recommend getting a small stand to put it on, but those are easy to find. 10/10!
