Evening everybody. I picked this frother up not because I’m a coffee connoisseur that needs to have the perfect cup at every sip. I picked it up for three reasons;â¢I like my coffee hot for more than 5 minutesâ¢I need to cut my coffee intake because at 50yo it makes me run to the can every 20 minutes after 2 cupsâ¢Who’s got two thumbs and needs to cut his sugar intake? This old dude!Since I’m a fan of coffee flavored coffee and real half and half, this handy little tool helps with all three points.This is the second one I’ve purchased, the first was a different brand, and I have to say that out of the box I was not highly thrilled with this one. My first one had some super crazy power on the first notch. The second and third were even more so. With this one the first notch will get your cream moving but it is not super powerful. Press your finger lightly against the bar and the engine will stop. But, setting two and three are definitely powerful. I thought this was a bad thing at first but it actually works out to my advantage.Since I need to cut my coffee and sugar intake I only fill my mug halfway with coffee. Which honestly gives me a standard cup because I use the oversized 15 oz to 18 oz mugs. Since I’m not drinking as much coffee I only need two or three scoops of sugar. I use another tall mug to warm about a quarter cup of half and half with one scoop of sugar. After removing the half and half from the microwave I use the milk frother and whip it into a nice firm foam.Here’s where this one has the advantage! With my last frother the first setting was so powerful that if I tried to use it to stir my firm half and half into my half cup of coffee then I would shoot both all over the counter and the wall. Even with my oversized mug. But, this one has a perfect power level for setting one if I want to use it to mix my firm half and half into my coffee as I slowly incorporate it into the larger mug. When I have about half an inch of space left on the top I stop frothing and pour a nice layer on top to insulate the rest of the coffee.Using this method I can drink two to three of these mugs through the morning before I overdo it and my sugar levels have dropped greatly. I used to drink a lot more coffee and was a sucker for loading it down with more sugar than a schoolgirl. I feel like I’m drinking a lot more coffee than I am because I’ve whipped a lot of air into about the same amount of half and half as I would have had, plus if I step away for a few minutes or get distracted my coffee is still nice and warm when I get back.I will say that the frother does work fairly well on many cream substitutes like Lucerne or International Delight. I can’t use sugar substitutes because if I do I start kicking out kidney stones like a painful gumball machine. And I’ve always had for two biggest sweet tooth. Until the kidney stones, when my old man bladder said after multiple kidney stone removal procedures, I used to be able to drink a pot of coffee then lay down for a good night’s sleep with no issues. Times have changed. This handy dandy little tool helps an old fart stay ahead of the curve. For the price point it can’t be beat.

Works well, but..
Works well, has 3 speeds, but what’s annoying is that in order to get it to power off, you have to go through each speed first, meaning you have to go up to top speed before you turn it off even if top speed is too high.I like that it comes with 2 attachments and a stand, and that it’s rechargeable. Good quality, easy to use.

Other reviews stated that you need to walk through all three speeds to shut off, not true. If you long press, it shuts off the wand immediately.It froths super quick – just have to make sure what you’re frothing is frothable :-)My Snickers creamer does not froth, skim milk froths like crazy!Also works well just as a mixer. I have a collagen powder that I add to my coffee. This wand thoroughly mixes/dissolves the powder in 5 secs as opposed to 45 sec of stirring with a spoon.Not sure why the stand holds the wand at an angle, I assume the designers have their reasons?

Great frother
I love this frother. I use it mainly to mix protein powder into my coffee, and it works so well for that, even at the lowest setting. I also love that it has a stand. After I’m done, I clean it by frothing a glass of soapy water, then put it on the stand to dry. I’ve had it a few months, and I’ve had to charge it just once.

Good but annoying
I like thatâs itâs rechargeable and it does a great job. My issue is that you have to cycle through all three speeds to turn it off. So, mornings that I fill my cup a little too full- it gets messy when I have to turn it off.

***** Review Update November 4, 2024 *****Increase to 4.5 Stars. So I know how to use this better. With small amounts to froth, start with the slow till it it froths up and increase speed to really whip it up.On multi cycle speed. If you are at lower speed and you do not want to cycle up due to splash danger you can hold the button down on the lower speed until it shuts off. Voila!The seller contacted me to see if I wanted a refund and by that time I figured it out. I did not take the refund. That is a strong gesture to me on how the seller cares about it’s reputation. That is a good thing.I still took half of star cause I would have liked to know about the shut off and I am not sure if that is a planned feature or if I just stumbled on to it.Love this frother now and recommend with this knowledge in mind.***** Original review on October 23, 2024 *****So I got this to replace a non rechargeable battery operated frother. As more people at our house started to froth, I got tired of buying and replacing batteries.After fully charging and using, I could see this was not as good as what I am used to. I think this is meant more for doing a small carafe of milk at a time rather than a single splash.The double ring whisker is overkill. It adds to the swing weight, makes the action klunky and takes more time to get a good froth on.There is an attachment for mixing which I don’t intend to use but a big plus if you are into that.I like that you can store this upright with out the holder. Takes up less space.Since my goal is froth, I find the 3 speeds not necessary. It also makes for an annoying shut down having to cycle through low, medium and high to turn this unit off (and on). You also increase your chances of splatter if you pull the frother out too early thinking you have turned the unit off when all you did was put it on high.I’ll use it a bit more and come back if anything changes but for now it gets a solid 3 stars which is meh.

I use this product at work and love being able to charge it. I used to run out of power on previous products due to not having batteries. I got tired of bringing in batteries to work so very happy with this.
