PACKAGED FOR FRESHNESS: At Raven’s Brew, we take freshness seriously. Our coffee is packaged shortly after roasting, in air-tight bags to seal in our incredible aroma. Our packaging helps protect your coffee from the light and air, which are both major contributors to stale coffee.
HIGH-QUALITY BEANS, PERFECTLY ROASTED: We choose rare, high-quality beans from some of the world’s best coffee plantations and delicately roast them to create super smooth layers of flavor. Our process creates a strong, rich and flavorful coffee—perfectly smooth with no unpleasant acidity.
THE ART OF ROASTING: From the many varieties of roasting equipment available within the industry, we have selected air roasting as our method of choice. Air roasting draws in vast amounts of hot air from underneath the coffee. The hot air surrounds each bean evenly, reducing the risk of scorching the delicate green beans. This creates a noticeably cleaner, less bitter and more vibrant taste in the cup.

Very good coffee if you like dark roasted coffee.
I love whole bean coffee. Graining in the morning has become one of my favorite smells. Raven Brew coffee is some of my favorite. Everyone has a different flavor. Some have an extra shot of caffeine. There are earthy flavors in some. Chocolate and nut flavors in others. I drip brew mine most of the time but once in a while I will French press the ones with the extra caffeine. None are bitter. Price is comparable to other coffees I have purchased. I have tried six of Raven Brewâs coffee.

Best Coffee
This is hands down the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. Each bag came fresh and perfectly roasted. The aroma coming from the beans is heavenly. I love that the variety pack gave us an opportunity to find a new favorite flavor. It’s well worth the price!

Love the Flavor, the Variety, the Artwork, the Ravens Brew VIBE!!!
We rediscovered Ravens Brew !!! And gifted it to our daughter for her new (first) home. We had taken a family cruise up the Inside Passage to Alaska in early 2000’s and found Ravens Brew to be a regional favorite and mail-ordered it to Florida for a few years. Life happened and we stopped ordering – until now. It was a wonderful and very meaningful surprise for our daughter.

I tried the Goat so far. It seems they have done a great job with their roasting technique.
Exactly what I expected from their roasting process… I have only tried the goat so far. Smooth, low acid, no bitterness unless it burns in your coffee pot all day and even that didnt taste bad. French pot was the best. Not as thick and heavy as my usual roast. Kind of a cross between thick and heavy vs dry and smooth. Im frugal and this was a very good deal when considering quality and taste vs cost. Still pricy for me as an everyday (…er… all day) coffee, but these have high caffeine and great taste, the perfect coffee for that occasionally desired kick on the downside of a 10 hour shift. Very giftable to those coffee lovers.

Had me at the deadhead art
I gotta be honest and admit that when I saw the Deadhead art I was sold. If it sucked I’d put it on the shelf and just look at the packaging. I am always looking for a full bodied dark roast bean, and these are that. They are without debate the best I’ve found for my own brewing. And I can’t think of any other coffee where you read everything on the bag then keep the empty bag. This is a dark roast, probably seconds away from catching fire, so if you want a gentle creme espresso, this isn’t it. None of their coffees are bitter and they will last as long as you keep them sealed. If you’re a demanding barista that weighs out each filter’s grind, you won’t be disappointed. And if you just fill the basket, tamp it down and draw maybe a bit more than the one or two shots you’ve calibrated your machine to, these beans will deliver.UPDATE: I was asked if there was any particular bean in the Ravens Brew line that I recommended. My first purchase was a 3 pack assortment of Wicked Wolf, Three Peckered Billy Goat and Deadman’s Reach and the one roast I was raving about was Deadman’s Reach. I’ve since also purchased their Grin & Bear It and House Blend and there’s still a couple I haven’t tried. They are all worthy and are different and sometimes it just depends on the day. I advise getting the assorted packs and decide for yourself. If you just want to buy 1 bag and you want a rich dark roast that is smooth yet packed with flavor with a rich aroma, I recommend Deadman’s Reach.

Fantastic coffees so far
I’m pretty particular about my coffee and I usually like Seattle’s Best Portside Blend, Pikes Major Dickasons Blend & Tully’s Hawaiian. I like a full bodied darker roast, but not French Roast or Espresso so much as those taste burnt to me.I bought a bag of Ravens Brew Wicked Wolf Coffee at my local grocery store and I was so impressed with it that I got on Amazon and bought this 3 pack of 3 other flavors. So far I’ve only had the 3 Peckered Billy Goat from this trio and it is also a fantastic coffee, though I think I prefer the Wicked Wolf so far. The other 2 bags should be drank in the next few weeks so I’ll try to remember to come back here and update my review to let you know if I love those 2 as much as the other 2 I’ve tried so far, but so far this is my favorite coffee company.

Ravens Brew has my most favorite coffee, I love all their stuff but my most favorite is their Three Peckered Billy Goat. My mom brought it home for my brother and I after a cruise probably 20 years ago. I have been enjoying it ever since. It is just a great tasting coffee! The only reason it is not the one and only coffee in my household is due to the price tag. I live in Canada and find that especially since covid you no longer get a 1 lb bag and yet the price tag is still pretty steep. So as much as I would like this to be the only coffee I purchase it is just not in my budget but that is the only reason. Otherwise, I love this coffee!

I really like the flavor of this coffee. I admit I bought based on looks because its great as a gift because its so different then what’s on the shelf locally. To my happy surprise, the beans smell great and the taste matches.

So far I just try the Billygoat one and I am not disappointed. It taste very good and smells good too. I was attract by the bag but I am pretty happy with this purchase.
Just me –
Found it VERY bland, definitely not a true darkroast. Pour over, drip, pod style and every grind combination did not make it better. With the names it has high expectations. It failed on all fronts.
