Great Knock Box
this knock box and the buffer gasket was a replacement, it fit perfectly to size specifications. Highly recommend

Great knockbox
It’s a thick metal box essentially. It’s very large which is what I wanted. You don’t have to worry as much about a stuck puck because it is so wide. Instead of going everywhere, it kinda just rolls back in. I don’t know why, but it seems to work out better than my round knockbox. It isn’t a pretty knockbox, but I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be in another container or installed into the counter.Do note: there’s two versions of this thing. This one is solid bottom. There’s another open bottom one.

“Basic” Knock Box… but is perfect without the frills.
I needed a functional and solid knock box without the dressed up looks. This is an essential piece of equipment for the serious espresso machine owner, but keeps the cost where it should be, down.Highly recommend this box, works as advertised and gets the job done!

Excellent Quaulity. Does not Leak.
Very good, sturdy quality of steel and rubber. Enjoy usage. Have not experienced leakage as other viewer has mentioned. The weld marking of bottom interior is not appealing, however as imagined with discard of expresso there is concealment. Please note the sizing of this knock box is significantly larger than typical. Really not necessitated with home usage, however I find the larger to have desired aesthetic. Also, I have found it impossible to find a wood casing appropriate to the sizing of the steel aspect, which is easily found for the smaller size. I built a very pleasing casing from oak. Of course a wood casing is optional and not required with utilization. Recommended.

Makes it easy to clean the filter and doesn’t bump the counter.
I can’t believe I’ve gone for 45 years making espresso without having a knock box.But after 35++ years of wife nagging about “breaking the counter with that bang” and using plastic trays I decided to get one. So, I spent some time looking and eventually I decided that getting cheap just made no sense, specially as this sit next to an expensive BIG Expobar. This knock box works very well. It also holds the grounds from our morning drip brew.I can knock the portafilter on the padded bar and I get a sharp knock that cleanly gets rid of the puck, while at the same time, no ‘bang on the counter’. I should note that I placed a rubberized mat under it, so it doesn’t go anywhere. My wife is happy. And it looks good.

High Quality, Works Perfectly
What can I say? It’s a big, heavy duty box. It’s designed to be installed into a cutout in your counter top, but mine is just free-standing. It’s commercial grade quality and it’s inexpensive. The convenience of having this right next to my espresso machine is priceless. No more knocking my grounds directly into the trash can (unsanitary and sometimes messy!). I definitely recommend it.btw…DON’T dispose of your grounds in the sink! It’s just like putting sand in your pipes and you WILL have to call a plumber to clean out the pipes.

Long lasting and durable with a sufficient size
This is a simple, no frills knock box with a padded bar to protect the portafilter from damage. It holds approximately 20 spent puck before it needs to be emptied, and a quick rinse under the faucet gets all the remaining grounds right out. I have been using this daily for 5 years now and it has never bent or rusted, so can vouch for the quality and durability.

Itâs well built. I made a wood box for …
Itâs well built. I made a wood box for this. But the rim edge dose not sit flat on the wood box. I had to add a cabinet bumper to one corner for it to sit level and not wobble
