Surprisingly large, or more like extra large.
A multipurpose bean scoop that doubles as a funnel. I saw a smaller version of this at my local coffee roasters and wanted one ever since. However, when I received it I was shocked – I was not expecting it to be THIS BIG, which is my fault for not paying attention to the product image that shows its dimensions.I am attaching an image that shows its funnel-end placed into the opening of a pint-size (16oz) wide mouth mason jar – which just barely fits but it does fit INSIDE the mouth of the jar. So that should serve as a reference point for anyone considering this.I am using this to pour green unroasted coffee beans into the roasting chamber of my coffee roaster (while its running) and then once the roasted coffee has cooled down, to place it into jars or valved bags. Works perfectly and with effortless precision!Quick commentary on price: I do find the price a head-scratcher given its plain plastic construction and nothing else special about it other than its design with the functional funnel handle, which is not at all proprietary to this particular manufacturer- but I digress. Not docking any stars on this account since these scoop/funnels are mid 20s/30s at most sellers. Perhaps because its a specialty application item.

I should have looked closer at the dimensions for this as I didn’t quite realize how huge this scoop is! They mention this being good for a coffee enthusiast but I can’t imagine what enthusiast needs a scoop THIS large! I could see it being handy if you are on the farm and need a large scoop for feeding cattle or livestock.

Perfect for professionals or hobbyists handling 1-1.5kg of Green Beans, great for cooling and degassing. The odd one needs a couple of strips of aluminium tape so they weight exactly the same for tare weight. Would recommend.
