Good size for a two-cup brew. Well wrapped glass beaker. The casing gives enough support to keep the glass off the counter and does help with some heat dissipation. The filter and plunger are not the most sturdy of construction and I would not expect this to be a life long item to last through an estate sale! That being said the filter does trap a decent amount of particulate from the grounds.Ok for a backup or possibly for rv camping.

Good replacement for pricier brand
REplaced and old Bodum that broke in a fall. this one works just as good. Easy to plunge, easy to clean. Metal mesh works as good as any to keep “dust ” down. Only very minor annoyance is that the top has to be aligned just right with the slots at the spout to pour out the coffee. I would love to not have to think about how that one piece is rotated, you can tell unless you look at it sideways. I ended up using a silver Charlie to make a mark on the lid so I know where to spin it to, not classy but better than figuring it out each time.

It does the job ok
Meh it does the job but there are a couple annoying things commensurate with the affordable price point. First, the lid doesnât have an indicator showing where the pour opening is so once youâve pressed the plunger you have to spin the lid until you see the pour location come around rather than align a triangle on top to the spout as other presses might have. Second, and more challenging, the carafe slips out of the cradle when pouring but only when itâs hot. I imagine the plastic-feeling cradle expands after pouring hot liquid. Once cool, the carafe fits snugly but itâs annoying to remember to put a thumb on top to prevent your hot drink from falling on the floor.

I bought this to make one cup of ground cacao and it is just what I needed. It is small, goes in the dishwasher and is cute!

Nice little french press, however
Itâs a nice little French Press that is very easy to use and storeâ¦ However, it seems the one I received may have been a return because several items were not in sealed plastic and there was fingerprints on the little glass which is not good.

After replacing my 3 rd automatic coffee maker within a three month period, I opted to purchase this single serve French press. I absolutely LOVE it! Iâm single so the serving size is perfect! My kitchen is tiny with limited countertop space, and it can be stored on a shelf with coffee mugs. PERFECT all around for my needs!
