First impressions were good hand feel, solid and heavy in the hand. The lid is not very secure, not magnetic at all, it is wobbly and will fall off if the unit is upside-down or tilted horizontally not magnetic at all. Unit does not come with any instructions on how to take it apart for cleaning.Round 1 I tried grinding about 5g of light roast at setting 18 it just kept turning and not much grinding done. Some beans were broken but they were not falling into the burr. In the first pic you can see the broken pieces after about 5 mins of turning they were still around. This continued until about setting #28-30 then the teeth finally sank in started grounding.2nd round, 11g of beans at setting 30 took what feels like a long time to grind. (I had a king grinder k4 and it didn’t take this long, maybe because 48mm burrs) and once done there is a lingering sound like its not done grinding (video) until you turn setting to about 36 then the residue clears up.And lastly, photo #3 showing metal residues on the magnets. So make sure you clean it well before using it.

The grinder arrived this morning. It beats the wacaco grinder hands down. Doesn’t slip while grinding, heavy in the hand, magnetic container, numbered outside and above all beautiful to hold. I love it.

The grinder is solid, heavy and has a premium look. I only tried a couple of settings at 36-40 range, which is fine-medium fine. It was pretty intense work out but the result was very good – consistent grind. The control is very easy to adjust. However there is no instruction and turning counter clockwise, you can go past 0 and keep going. So I will have to experiment more to be sure I’m doing it correctly. Another gripe is the rubber ring is a bit too narrow to grip tightly in the initial hard turns during grinding.
