Round Pyrex storage containers arrived on time, were well packaged.They were stacked with lids attached then wrapped in plastic to hold them together, preventing damage during shipping.Excellent quality, perfect size for saving a single serving of spaghetti or other leftovers for re-heating in the bowl. The lids are well designed and fit well. It’s also nice to see they sell replacement lids should I ever need to replace them.While these are perfect for storing leftovers in the refrigerator, I would not use them for carrying soup or anything liquid to work for lunch, the temperature change could cause a leak. Instead use Mason jars with an air tight lid that can handle the pressure change and you will never have a leak.Warning: don’t stack / nest these without the lids attached, they will lock together and you will likely break them when taking them apart. You can blast compressed air around the contact edges to blow them loose.Another method is dip the bottom bowl in hot water to expand only the bottom bowl while pulling apart before the inner bowl has a chance to expand.

quality containers!
These are great glass containers for small leftovers and such. We just bought a few more, and they seem to be even better quality than our originals with a smooth glass rim and tight-fitting lids. Some folks have mentioned issues with the plastic lids, but I’m hopeful that these new ones will last as long as our originals which are still going strong. (We wash them by hand and don’t put them in the microwave which may help with longevity. We do, however, put them in the freezer pretty regularly and that’s been fine.)

Glad I ignored the negative reviews!
I love these! I actually bought them in all available sizes, to replace my ancient, unhealthy plastic containers. I’m glad I ignored the reviews that complained about the quality of the lids: yes, they are best not microwaved, but you can buy silicone lids separately to resolve that problem (at least for the round Pyrex). The lids are plenty tight enough. I also always disregard reviews about products arriving flawed; stuff happens, and arranging for a replacement is easy. Out of a large number of Pyrex I ordered, one was flawed; no big whoop. My only regret is that the Pyrex don’t nest as well as my old plastic containers do, but that’s understandable because of the thickness of the glass (which I appreciate, especially after I dropped one while standing up trying to get the lid off and it did not break. I actually enjoy cooking more now, with these high-quality, good-looking containers.

Lasting with tight fitting lids
I purchased these a few months ago but preferred to wait to review to ensure they held up. I am pleased to report that they are great! Pyrex has not let me down! Iâve had cheaper versions of these but the lids have, stretched and split and Iâve had to throw them out. Not so with these. The lids still fit great and are leakproof. I carry a backpack and ride a bus to work. I carry my lunch every day and often my lunch ends up slipping around in my backpack. The lids do not come off or leak. I also love that they are glass and not plastic. Easier to clean, safer in the microwave and do not stain. I would purchase again.

Great for leftovers!
Since getting more of these, I’m actually cooking more and eating better! I prepare a meal and immediately serve one portion to eat now and the rest in these little dishes. Each one holds one serving (works especially well with soup), which goes in the refrigerator immediately. All I have to do the next day is take out a bowl, vent it, and put it in the microwave. They’re nice and sturdy enough that I can eat it right out of the same dish. Could not be easier!I used to eat a lot more “convenience” food because I’m not a very motivated cook, but this technique is so ridiculously easy that it overcomes my general laziness and lack of interest in leftovers.The only downside is that the lids are not as sturdy as the dishes themselves. They tend to split around the edges and once, when I left the lid on top in the microwave (not sealed, just sitting loosely), it warped in the heat. But it’s easy to order replacements, so it’s only a minor problem.

Perfect size at 2cups.
We use these for my husbandâs granola, yogurt and fruit breakfast which he eats at work. With everything we add in the top seals really well. Purchased these to replace old plastic versions. I stack the glass separately from the lids making it easier to grab and place on the counter. I probably wouldnât use in the freezer due to liquids expanding.
