How to Brew
The Pure Over coffee maker is the start to a whole new coffee brewing experience, straddling the line between a pour-over in function and a French press in flavor. It’s in a league of its own. Made entirely of borosilicate glass, it’s as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing. It requires no paper filters and is composed of six key elements—a dripper, a diffuser lid, a stir stick, a ceramic base, mug, and the mug coaster. Most everything you need to make the perfect morning brew. Use is as easy as 1-2-3. Start by filing the dripper with 20 grams of your favorite medium ground coffee, then place the diffuser lid on top. Then, place the dripper on top of the mug. Slowly pour hot water through the lid. The diffuser lid regulates the speed at which the water rains onto the coffee grounds in the dripper below saturating the coffee grounds. Let the coffee grounds bloom for 30-45 seconds before pouring the remaining water, approximately 10 ounces (or to the height of the dripper handle). Complete drawdown takes around 5 minutes. As with anything new, using Pure Over can start off with a bit of a learning curve. With our unique built-in glass filter, you’ll never need to buy a paper filter again. Though you will need to experiment with your grind. We recommend grinding your beans to a medium grind. We recommend a burr grinder as it grinds in the most uniform way. We can’t wait to brew with you!
Meet Etai
The glass artisan who brought art into the kitchen. Coffee brewing can be messy but fascinating to watch, and Pure Over provides the best of both worlds with its glass filter, viewing the brewing process while protecting against spills and splatters. Pure Over was forged in passion for simplistic design to solve your coffee woes while also bringing you back to basics and what’s really important: a pure, clean, and customizable cup of coffee.
Elevate Your Brew – Wake up to something wonderful. Our pour over coffee maker lets you enjoy the ritual and simplicity of preparing your morning cup. The all-glass system comes with a dripper, mug, diffuser lid, stir stick, ceramic base, and a built-in glass filter—meaning more taste and less waste.
Pure Flavor – With a brew similar to a french press, the Pure Over brewer allows some coffee oils and microfine sediment through. Thanks to its dual immersion and dripper style, the resulting cup has a fuller body and smoother mouthfeel. For adequate filtration, we recommend a medium-coarse grind.
Thoughtfully Designed – Construction and function come together in the name of sustainability. Our single cup coffee dripper is made of borosilicate glass, making it exceptionally durable and heat resistant. It can withstand temperature changes, like brewing with hot water.
Ditch Your Filter – Every day, 750 million paper filters are disposed of in landfills. With Pure Over you can use zero paper filters. Join us as we get one step closer to a more sustainable morning ritual and future. No paper, no waste. Just glass and coffee.
Pure Over & The Crucible – We believe in the power that artists and craftspeople have to make our world a more meaningful place and are proud to donate a portion of our profits in support the work done at The Crucible, the largest nonprofit dedicated to making the arts accessible to all.

Beautiful design, a fun experience and the smoothest coffee of my life!
My son, a designer, after searching for the perfect cup for me for hours, bought me the cup for mother’s day and we raved over the simple elegance. I wanted to try the brew kit and ordered it. I love the blend of science and art. All my life I have been a french press devotee, and wow, I was surprised, the Pure Over system is a huge improvement in reducing acidic taste and producing a seamless smooth coffee experience. Eliminating metal and paper from the coffee game, is important, If you care about the environment and paper waste, this is a big plus. In Chinese medicine they say not to cook herbs in metal, use only glass, you can taste the difference! This all glass system produces the smoothest coffee I have ever experienced. This system is designed by an accomplished glass artist and you can tell that it took a lot of thought and care. I love the set design and the ritual of watching it flow down into the cup. In my first order, there was a small error in packing, I was sent two cups instead of a dripper and cup, the company responded right away sending me another dripper and a carafe for free to make up for my trouble in having to do the return. More than kind.

Nice but the coffee can’t be finely grinded
This works great as long as the coffee isn’t too finely grinded. My first try was to use finely grinded coffee, and they were too fine for the glass filter and I almost wanted to return the product. But then I adjusted my burr grinder to grind to medium, and I increased the water temperature to counter balance the medium grind and the system works great. I like the glass build – it’s clean and beautiful. It feels nice and fancy. Also, the bottom tray for the glasses are made of fine porcelain and it’s a nice set up. Overall, very good product. But I suggest to the seller/inventor – add a note to the product to let people know that they need a medium grind to use this product.

Great brewerâ¦except for weak glass
I loved this brewer a LOT, it worked amazingly and made great coffee without the use of filters. Howeverâ¦three elements have now broken fairly easily without excess force: the handle of the smaller carafe that the coffee drips through, the stirring stick and MOST importantly, the small circular piece that you pour the water onto for it to drip through. Its glass, I understand itâs fragile, so I took care of it, but the smallest movement in the wrong direction and boom there goes my $90 Coffee brewer. Really sucks to lose such a great piece of equipment due to the ease of it breaking despite the very high price point

Extremely small
The item is beautiful however itâs pour over coffee for 1 serving. It was packaged well. I will keep it but, I need something bigger.

Life changing
It’s coming up on a year of using this thing. Possibly the best purchase I’ve ever made lol. I love it. It’s a pain to:1.”dial in” and get your grind size right2. figure out how much coffee you need for an ideal cupHowever, once you get it right, it’s amazing. I wouldn’t trade it for a normal coffee machine with all sorts of plastic parts involved. Also surprisingly durable. I’ve beaten the hell out of this thing and it hasn’t even chipped.

Learn prior to brewing
Cake filtering. Still up in the air on this. Still getting some grounds in my carafe. After numerous times of dialing my grind in, having some minor issues compared to the videos the mfr does showing flawless pours. I love the design and look. Wish the brewing was good and no French press type grounds in my pour.

Excellent Pour Over Maker
TLDR; This is excellent. East to clean, makes great coffee, the filter works well, and itâs fairly sturdy.Iâve had this for about a month now and I absolutely love it. The taste of the coffee is very noticeably different than a traditional pour over and filter combo. Much âcleaner,â with a lot less of that cardboard/paper flavor contamination. Took me about 3 cups before finding the perfect grind size, none of which were undrinkable. With its price tag, I donât know if I could recommend it to everyone, but if you love your coffee, love pour over, and enjoy taking the time and effort to dial in your cup, itâs definitely worth it.Mine shipped without the diffuser lid, so I went over to their website and emailed customer support to see if I could purchase just the replacement part. I later found out that I could, but while entering my card details into the order, I got an email back saying theyâd send one out to me for free. A few days later and I had it.Amazing build quality, amazing coffee, and amazing customer support.

Unreliable Handle
Handle broke off and pricked my finger. I was filling the cup with ordinary room temp water when this happened. Can’t say I want a replacement, because I don’t want to start another morning like this. This brewer looks beautiful, and although it provides widely varying results each brew, it was at least fun to watch.
