    Nice carafe
I do like my carafe but it is a bit too big. I do use it if I make a lot of coffee. I like the handle which is why I purchased it. I now just use the filter and do a coffee drip in my regular coffee cup.

    Perfect Pour-Over Coffee for 2
I laugh at coffee “cup” sizes. I know, I know…those are the sizes we should be drinking to live our best lives and be healthy, but I prefer 18oz to start my day. The challenge has been, so does my wife! I’ve been a pour-over coffee enthusiast long before I met my wife and got her hooked on it as well. I kept making coffee for the two of us the same way I did for just myself—one 18oz cup at a time. This method is time-consuming and uses a lot of coffee. I use the Hario V60 ceramic pour-over dripper, and what I had in my set up was great for one cup but did not make two, and I finally realized I needed something bigger. I own Hario’s small and delicate drip pot, and it will make greater than one cup of coffee, but not quite two of “our-sized” coffees.Enter the Primula Park pot. It pairs wonderfully with the Hario V60 and, in my opinion, offers a better filter than the wire-mesh reusable one that comes with this pot. The wire-mesh filter is fine but can leave some very-fine grounds at the bottom of the last cup. The Hario V60’s seal isn’t flawless with this pot, as you can seen in the picture, and I feel a good knock could send the ceramic piece flying since it doesn’t have a solid base to sit on. However, it sits securely enough without wobble.Once I figured out the right measurements for coffee and water, the Primula Park pot consistently collects two excellent cups of coffee for us. The pot feels much sturdier than the Hario pot, and when pre-warmed properly (see below), it delivers hot, delicious coffee. I’m thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend it!PRO TIP: pour your already hot water in the caraffe first, and then pour it into your pouring kettle. This will ensure everything is nice and hot before the coffee first hits glass. I also pre-warm my mugs this way. Another tip is to let the coffee bloom after the initial pour for a spell, before adding the rest of the water. It will greatly improve the taste of your brew.

    Delicious, quick, and easy brew!
I did a lot of researching/looking for a pour-over pot that made multiple cups of coffee and this one seemed to fit the bill for everything I was looking for. After using this pour-over for myself, I am pleased to say that I don’t think I could have made a better choice. This pot makes a smooth brew that is not at all bitter. I used the suggested ratio of coffee as recommended in the instructions that came with the pot and found it to make a good full-bodied cup of coffee. I like my coffee a bit stronger, so in the future, I may up the ratio just a bit. Unlike the Chemex type pour-over pots, this Primula pour-over has a rubberized base to limit heat transfer to the counter and to protect the glass pot from breaking. It also has a handle and tapered lip for easy pouring. This set is also super easy to clean and reasonably priced! As someone who only reviews products that I am truly impressed by, I highly recommend this Primula pour-over pot!

Nice, inexpensive way to make pour-over coffee.
I’ll admit, the whole “pour-over” fad is kind of amusing to me, seeing as how it was EXACTLY how my mother made her coffee over fifty years ago. It’s nothing new, but it’s enjoying a sudden popularity.Anyhow, I wanted an alternative for morning when I didn’t feel like having espresso and I’ve never been fond of the coffee from my French press. This system works well…I put the carafe on my kitchen scale, weigh out the coffee, then gradually add the appropriate weight of water. (Multiply the grams of coffee by 17, to determine how much water to add.) The resulting coffee is quite good. I do use a paper filter in the drip cone, to reduce cafestol levels. Google cafestol if you don’t know what it is…especially if you have high LDL cholesterol levels!Keep in mind, the carafe is not insulated and your coffee will cool off quickly, so drink it up fast or be prepared to heat up your refills in the microwave. Otherwise, the build quality is good. The handle is fake wood, but looks fine. The rubber base is a nice feature. I wouldn’t put it in the dishwasher, but it’s easy to wash by hand.Anyhow, it’s a good product that is an inexpensive alternative to the big name brands.

Has features I was looking for
Previously had the 34oz Bodum $20, which worked fine but had some issues for our household, which eventually came to fruitionWe have a busy household, and some clumsy people. My concern with the Bodum is that many people found it difficult to pick up and awkward to use. The glass does seem a little thin as well. I thought it may last 6 months or so before it would get damaged, to my pleasant surprise it lasted about a year, but last week the inevitable happened and it got knocked over and shattered.Time for a new one. This one has several good points for us. The rubber base makes it far more stable, nice large wooden handle to grip, it holds more, pours well and the glass is slightly thicker.Hopefully this survives longer.

This coffee pot is perfect and easy to clean. I also love the bottom has a silicone nonslip.

    $20 is appropriate
Include FAUX in front of “wood handle” because it is clearly synthetic, this a false description. The included filter is undersized for the capacity of the carafe and allows significant sediment to pass through. The carafe is however sturdy, the silicone base is protective.

Disappointed when I opened mine to see no reusable filter! Just the glass jug.. nothing else. Need to return.
