I like this and it’s cute. I think the squares to hold the tea bags could be a bit bigger, not much. The lid doesn’t sit flush, it remains open by a few millimeters. The finger hole on the drawer could be slightly bigger, it’s a bit tight to get an adult finger into. It also needs to be sanded a little more to get rid of the rough patches as the drawer doesn’t come out super smoothly. I like the lightness of the wood, makes it more neutral to fit into nearly any area. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I wanted to love this organizer but truthfully, for the price, the quality just isn’t there. The drawer barely opens and only with leverage, it is a very snug fit. And in multiple places the wood was splintery along the edges rather than smooth.

This box has two levels. The bottom is a drawer and it wouldn’t even open. It just fits too tight. Finally got it open then had to pound on it to get the drawer to go ij.-I am really tired of getting this cheap crap from China. This is the second tea box I ordered. The first came in broken and warped and couldn’t be glued.-I am going to quit buying stuff from amazon and start buying everything at the second hand store. They just don’t make stuff like they used to, and I hate all this cheap crap from China.

I’ve been using the Primo Lines Bamboo Tea Bag Organizer for a couple of weeks now, and overall, it’s a great addition to my kitchen. The bamboo construction is beautiful and gives it a natural, elegant look, while the acrylic window and magnetic lid make it easy to see and access my tea selection. The eight compartments are perfect for keeping my tea bags neatly organized and fresh, and the included gold spoon is a thoughtful and stylish bonus. However, my main issue with this organizer is the bottom drawer—it’s hard to open. Without any pull knobs or handles, it can be a bit frustrating to access, especially when you’re in a hurry. Adding a small handle or some kind of grip would make a huge difference. If you don’t mind the drawer design, it’s a good way to keep your tea accessible and tidy.

The size and number of compartments are nice. I wish the brand weren’t so centrally displayed because at first glance, it just looks like a blotch on the wood. The cutout in the front of the drawer that you use to pull it open is poorly designed. You can only fit the tip of your finger in before it buts up against the little piece of wood that stops you from pulling the drawer out too far, which should have been put on either side of the cutout. I think I’m going to take my dremel and sand out a 45° angle so that I can fit more of my fingertip to pull the drawer open. As seen in my final photo, sending it down will be needed anyway, since there are splinters. The spoon came in a little baggie inside the drawer and looks pretty. The plastic that other reviewers have mentioned really is a problem. I thought I’d be able to use tweezers or another pointy tool to get the plastic coating off the top window, but I couldn’t. I tried all around the edges on the top and bottom sides. You can see in my first and third photos that it is just going to be translucent forever. The lid is gently held shut with tiny magnets. It feels sturdy and the pieces of wood are fitted together properly, where it sits level and the lid moves smoothly.

I had high hopes for this and am disappointed, but for the price point, I probably shouldn’t be surprised. This is made from bamboo and there are several areas where the bamboo was not sanded and is splintering away. The drawer has no handle, but is rather a cut-away so that you need to stick a finger into the cut-away and drag the drawer out. This is very rough and not sanded down. The opening is small enough that I have a hard time getting my finger in a good position to pull hard enough. It LOOKS like it should fit fine, but you’ll bump into some framing as you insert your finger, so it makes the functional opening much smaller than it looks. The bamboo is not finished that I can tell and that concerns me in regards to moisture in the kitchen and staining. My kitchen is a much lived in a kitchen and we try to keep it clean, but we are definitely not perfect about it and I worry about the stain resistance of something lacking a solid kitchen-worthy poly-coat. Most, but not all of my individual tea bags fit in the squares, so if you favor a particular brand, do measure. This is the first that it has come to my awareness that my teabags are actually different sizes. My Taylors teabags were too large and my St. Dalfour can be forced (picture attached). I was also surprised at how difficult it was to remove the protective film from the acrylic window. There were no instructions on how this was done and I had to dig with my thumbnail to get it going. I’m used to seeing higher quality peel aways that come off smoothly and have some indicator where to start pulling (or a pull tab). This was not that. I had to dig with my fingernails in the corners to get it all out, because it is trapped under the framing and not scored well at the edges. It was a bit of a mess. So honestly, I’ve decided not to use this in my kitchen. I don’t think it will take the abuse my kitchen is going to dish out in terms of “things that are wet” and “things that might stain”. It’s going to need some sanding to be more skin friendly and I’m going to see if I can find a better solution for sliding that drawer out with less effort since my fingers seem to be the wrong size (who knew?)! So if you have those skills and are willing to put in that extra work to have a tea organizer at a budget price, then this might be OK for you. For me, I think this will be more useful in my sewing room to hold odds and ends in a non-food environment. I have lots of crafting tools that could use a box like this once I get it sanded better and attach something to make the drawer easier to pull out. So it’s still useful to me, but it’s not going to hold my tea. If I had not gotten this through the Vine program and was really wed to the idea of using it for tea, I would have returned it. But I do see some usefulness in this and I think it will make a lovely crafting tool box with some TLC!
