I work as a bus driver and often I don’t get time to stop for a coffee. I do usually have time to access a microwave or kettle. This little gadget should just do the trick. Mine came with the MyJo Cup but not sure if that’s typical as the box said “bonus”. I’ve used it at home and so far so good. Works with Keurig cups. Coffee tastes good just as it should. I recommend when pumping to not go back and forth. Just pump downwards, remove the lid to let air back in and repeat. Back and forth moves coffee grounds out of the coffee pod upwards. Happy with this purchase.

El sabor del café al no ser filtrado pasa muchos asientos, aceites escenciales y el sabor es muy parecido a una prensa francesa pero más ácido y con más cuerpo pues no existe filtro

Well, that’s crazy, this little guy does exactly what it says it does and produces a cup of coffee that is indistinguishable from our Keurig.I use my electric kettle to boil the water and it’s super fast to brew a cup. It’s clean, and a more water- saving way to make coffee than my small drip machine (Mostly because there’s no real water used for clean up)I see from reviews there are gaskets that may give out so I hope that when this wears out down the road they still make the item. It’s very reasonably priced so replacing it every couple of years does not seem unreasonable to me.It’s easy to use and kind of a fun novelty, too.Just read the instructions if it doesn’t work at first test – it mentions that the silicone spout can heal up in storage and you need to squish it a little to break it back open. I had that experience and that was the only thing even slightly challenging about getting it to work. The pressure used to pump it when it’s working properly is really not much, so if you have to push hard, this is probably the issue. Just be sure to test it with water that in NOT boiling the first time, to be safe.I’m still getting a kick out of using it.

I’ve had two different K machines die just outside of the warranty period, and in the search of yet another replacement, stumbled upon several varieties of “manual pump”-type gizmos. I’ve been using another one, but decided to give this one a try since it’s smaller and could pack nicely for vacation.Bottom line: It’s easy to use and puts out a respectable cup of coffee. What I like: — small size — it breaks down into 4 pieces (k-cup holder, water reservoir, rubber pump, and pump cap), so easy to store and pack — simple to use — put k-cup in holder, screw on water reservoir, add water, put pump cap into rubber pump, put pump into water reservoire, pump — coffee produced is quite good, maybe not as good as a K machine, but still much better than I expected and definitely drinkable — easy to maintain — clean and dry after use (NO DISHWASHER)What I don’t like: — getting the pump into the reservoir filled with hot water is a tad tricky – you have to be VERY careful and steady. There’s a sturdy plastic ring in the bottom flange of the pump, so I usually just push on that (gently) until the pump is firmly in place. — there’s always a little water left in the reservoir after filling because the opening in the bottom of the reservoir is raised slightly. I’m never quite sure whether or not I’ve pumped all the water out, although usually, I’ll see a lot of steam as I pump air. Just something to be aware of.I’ve been using it daily now for two weeks and I’ve had no real issues other than a slight learning curve. Some things I’ve learned: — do NOT use boiling water with this. As with at least one other version of the same idea, boiling water (as in rolling boil) can cause the plastic to crack. This may be less of a risk with this model because the bottom of the reservoir is plastic, not metal (the others seem to crack because the metal puncture pin expands with the heat), but still — the user manual says not to use boiling water and I suspect they have a reason. I have an electric kettle that has an adjustable thermostat so I set it so that it shuts off just before reaching a solid boil (got it on Amazon, and it was surprisingly inexpensive). I’m hoping this will add to a longer lifespan for this. — don’t push too hard on the pump. All that does is force the water through faster and you’ll end up with weak coffee (speaking from experience). Take a little time, using gentle pressure just to keep the water flowing. — I fill water to the 8-oz line in the reservoir. It usually takes 3-4 “pumps” to get all the water into the cup, occasionally more. I have a 20-oz mug, so I run the process twice with 2 k-cups to get an almost-full mug.Overall, I really do like this. I’m planning to take it along on my next vacation since the coffee provided in hotel rooms is usually not that good and as long as I can get hot water, I know this will provide a drinkable cup of coffee. Solid 4 stars — I like it!

That rare thing, simpler, cheaper and more effective than electric Keurig machines. Keep in mind because the Keurig capsule limits the amount of coffee used for brewing , the strength of your coffee is determined by your ability to control how much water is used. Only this little plastic (highly durable) device gives you that control. Why does nearly everyone in suggesting that MY JO is great for travel, somehow imply that it is not as good as what you use at home. I use this at home daily and my taste tests suggest that it makes better coffee, hotter and faster than other Keurig machines. And no maintenance.

It can be a bit of a mess if you don’t hold it properly over your coffee cup but easy to use once you get the hang of it

Inexpensive K-Cup Machine. Makes a good cup of Coffee
I bought it at around $21 dollars. So maybe it will come down in price. Here’s the deal. It is light weight, easy to use and needs no electricity. You can heat water in the container in your microwave or pour boiling water into it. Would be great for power Outages, that is, heat your water in a coffee pot on a gas stove, wood fire etc.I bought it mainly because we have a very small kitchen and not much counter space for another appliance like a Keurig Coffee Machine. This thing is small and works, store it anywhere. It all comes down to if you like the K-cups type of coffee? It might taste a bit better than the Keurig machine, as you use your own pressure, which possibly forces water into the coffee, like a higher pressure Coffee Machine. But I can’t prove that.I have used Dolce Gusto Coffee Machines from Europe for years. And Also sampled Nespresso Coffee. I think both taste better than K-Cup Coffee. Also they have a good Creme from the Coffee. This device though, makes a good cup of Joe at a cheap price. Those K-cups are for sale everywhere, unlike Nespresso or Dolce Gusto. So, yes it’s a good device for travel, camping, power-outages, or home.Of course in an emergency one can make Cowboy Coffee and dump Coffee grounds into a pot of Coffee. But most don’t want that in day to day life.I recommend it. Price has shot up a bit, as of the date of this writing, I suspect it will come down in price. Finally, the first time I tried it, I thought it did not work. I had not sealed the Rubber Pump, Stopper correctly and all I was doing was hearing a hissing sound and nothing happening. make sure you have sealed it well on top.I have went through a few boxes of coffee. I enjoy it!
