A Great Little Kit
Pleasantly surprised with this Boba tea kit. Boxed nicely and would make a great gift.All teas taste very fresh and flavorful (not like typical tea bags). Tai tea is great. Children love the lavender tea, and the black tea was good as well.Great recipe card directions walk you through making sweetener, cooking Boba (takes longer than we expected), but this seems to make the process more fun and family friendly..Children love making their own boba tea, like they see in the stores.Downsides:Not enough Boba. I used very little (sparingly), and ran out after about 7-9 cups of Boba tea. If this came with double the Boba, I would have given this 5 stars all around.Kit should come with a cheesecloth bag/filter to keep small particles out of tea.UPDATEWe ordered more boba black pearls on Amazon. pleasantly surprised to find that the flavorful and aromatic Tea do stretch.Decided after multiple preps, decided we didn’t actually need cheesecloth (we use a vegetable straining ladle or a pasta ladle to pull pearls from water). Thai tea is flavorfuk, colorful and my personal favorite.

Great project for a teenager!
My adolescent son loves getting boba tea when we go out so we decided to try this kit at home together. It was a fun project that kept us busy for an afternoon. The process is lengthy, but each step is fairly easy and the instructions were clear. Perfect for a budding chef! We have only tried the Jasmine Tea so far but it was very high quality. The results were tasty and my son was very proud to serve special drinks to the whole family!

not as good as it advertised
I love bubble teas and have been spoiled in some high-quality bubble tea places. I thought this one would as good or at least better than mediocre bubble tea as it advertized. To my disappointment, it isn’t. No milk powder or sugar syrup comes with the box. It only has three bags of loose tea, straws, and bubbles. You have to make your own milk and syrup. The loose tea doesn’t smell or taste very impressive. Not worth your money. Should have bought just a bag of dried bubbles and use my own premium loose tea.

I bought this kit for sister for Christmas since she is an avid bubble tea lover. It comes with such a unique variety of teas and everything you need to make your own bubble tea from home! It also comes packaged in a really nice gift box.

Great homemade beverage!
This boba kit is a game changer. The box, packaging, and recipes are beautifully designed and put together. The Boba pearls (absolutely delicious) and tea its self is very high quality. This is defiantly a premium kit at an amazing price! And to be completely honest, after this, I donât think Iâll ever buy Boba tea outside again because this is by far the best I had. It is also super easy to prepare. 10/10 would buy again!

Missing ingredients, takes forever to make
I bought this for my husband â heâs the only one in the house who likes boba. Iâve bought other kits before (from different brands) with no problem but this is the only one where the boba and the tea somehow take 40 MINUTES to make. What tea steeps for 40 minutes?! Also, the directions say the boba is best used within 5 hours of making it, so I get why the directions are also for cooking the entire boba package at one time. But that means you either have to have one big boba party or, if you do ignore the directions and cook only a small bit of boba at a time, you have to take plan your whole day around making a cup of tea.Also â the kit says it includes an Earl Grey Lavender tea but it doesnât. Thereâs a wholedirection card for this Earl Grey Lavender tea, but thereâs only black tea, Thai tea and jasmine in the box. Irritatingly, this EGL tea has the only direction card in the box that doesnât have a 4-hour steep time, and itâs doesnât exist. Iâm not sure why this product has so many glowing reviews with missing ingredients and ridiculously long cooking times which mean you likely end up unable to actually use most of the boba. Weâll likely end up throwing this away.
