Nice mild and mellow!
I like to have a variety of flavors and dynamics in my coffee – cold brew, french press, espresso, light, dark, etc. so I really like having this in the mix for a mellow afternoon or to have on a lazy weekend morning. It being medium roast and fairly low acid/bitterness allows me to stay mellow and contemplate the other flavors in the coffee. Maybe another way of saying not very strong tasting, but that’s a good thing sometimes.I use a French press and us 1/2 cup for 18 ounces of coffee and it came out well. A bit of milk provided enough sweetness that it was enjoyable just like that.I do appreciate what seems to be attention to other factors, such as where its grown, testing, sustainability, etc., but I can’t say that’s going to make me like this if it weren’t already a good coffee – at least a good addition to the rotation.

Solid Brew
I’m not sure and the legitimacy of the other claims, but these are nice beans.Full bodied aroma and taste, organic, not bitter or overwhelming. Just a refreshing cup of coffee!

Premium Ethiopian coffee
I love Ethiopian coffee in general, and this one from Premier Research Labs is no exception. In short, this is a very well-rounded and balanced medium roast with amazing fruity notes and sweetness. There is no bitterness, and itâs slightly milder than typical medium roasts, but it still has a really good, rich flavor and taste. Almost $26 per pound is not cheap, yet I do think itâs almost worth the premium price. A cup of pour-over in the morning, made simply and well with this bean, made me believe so.

Trending toward the light side – muted flavor
I brewed this coffee in a french press using 14 oz of water 200F and 42g of beans ground on medium coarse. I brewed for 8 minutes breaking up the grounds after about a minute. The result was a fairly light coffee with a fruity sort of aftertaste. The taste wasn’t bad and the coffee drank smoothly. However, it was so light as compared to a medium roast that I went with 3 stars. If you like light coffee this will be a good option for you. If you are looking for something with a bit more bold you’ll likely be disappointed.

Tasty and smooth
This is a very tasty coffee. I typically prefer and more often purchase a more bold and robust type of coffee, but I wanted to give this a try. Itâs not bold, but it is very smooth and has a good flavor. Iâm not real good with describing flavors like that, but there was almost no bitter taste whatsoever. I felt that I needed to use a bit more coffee in my French press to get a similar strength, but once I dialed it in, I was impressed at the flavor and went through the bag quickly. The beans were fresh and fragrant. I typically prepare my coffee by grinding beans at that moment and putting them in a French press. This coffee did not disappoint. I would like to try a more bold version of the same brand, but certainly give this one high marks as I consider myself somewhat of a coffee snob.

The beans smell absolutely wonderful!
I love opening a new bag of coffee beans. The smell is so amazing. You wish the entire drinking experience was just that good!I keep my bags in the fridge (or freezer, depending), to extend the freshness. So, it seems like making coffee from a freshly opened bag, for as long as possible. These beans make a good cup of coffee. Warm, nice aroma, and pleasant taste. I prefer creamer in my cup, but my coffee does still taste good.

Rich Flavor
I found the aroma delightful, and the beans ground fresh provided a satisfying flavor, especially when brewed with a drip pot. The quality is impressive, particularly given that these beans are tested for heavy metals and mycotoxins, offering added peace of mind for those sensitive to these contaminants. The medium roast is smooth. These beans are a worthwhile purchase for quality and quantity.
