Excellent option for small-scale pour over coffee!
I love this fine mesh stainless steel coffee filter. Iâve been making single-cup pour-over coffee for quite some time; at first using a plastic cone and paper filters. This worked great, of course, but Iâve been trying to eliminate plastics and waste in our house. This filter is the answer! Easy to clean, works great. I even use a very fine grind coffee and the fine mesh handles it very well – itâs a little slower that plastic cone/paper filter, but the coffee tastes excellent with no sludge in the bottom of the cup. I highly recommend this filter cone.

This little setup works absolutely flawlessly with any size coffee mug. The perforation is micro tiny, and the finest powder doesnât get through it. It brews a nice slow brew because of the size of the mesh (holds the water for a a few seconds), makes absolutely no mess, allows you to see the level inside the mug, and cleans up in three seconds flat. Itâs absolutely perfect. Whoever gives this thing less than five stars, simply, has an issue with leaving five stars. I wouldnât change any part of the design for anything. Itâs flawless and made VERY WELL. Timeless quality.

I’m very happy with this purchase. Both the drip cone and the bonus 1T scoop are high-quality polished stainless steel. I ordered the large (as shown here on a 1-cup Pyrex) for the option to make coffee for guests, but the medium would be sufficient for most uses, and the small would be perfect for a single user. I like strong coffee, so I typically grind beans to medium-fine and use size 02 paper filters to hold in the water longer, but filters aren’t necessary. The result is smooth, sediment-free coffee. The silicone bottom band and handle cover easily slip off during washing, so take care not to lose them.
