How do you make pour-over coffee?
You place the coffee dripper over your cup, and spoon in your ground coffee. Then you pour nearly boiling water, slowly and with a circular motion, over the grounds. You will see the coffee begin to “bloom” as the coffee brews and flows into your cup.
How much coffee should I use?
This depends on the type of coffee you like, how strong you like it, and how finely ground it is. Typically the finer the grind the stronger the coffee. We suggest starting with about 2-3 tablespoons and after making a couple of cups you will discover the right amount for you.

Pour over filter – makes delicious coffee
I bought this filter because I was sick and tired of cleaning the Keurig. Those things are a pain in the butt to clean. I already donât buy k-pods due to the environmental impact with the use of the disposable coffee pods. We were using the refillable Keurig filters which were ok, but I could only put so much coffee in the filter. I decided on this pour over because itâs literally just the filter instead of a whole contraption that would take even more space in my tiny kitchen. I love the coffee it brews. You really get the flavors in a pour over. I will never go back to a machine drip coffee at home. I liked that this is very easy to clean. I have only had it since mid-December of 2024, I have not had any issues that everyone else is mentioning at about the six-month mark of daily use. So far, so good, and so far, loving the filter. Itâs cheap enough but good quality that if I must replace it close to a year, then itâs not a big deal.

Excellent filter, flimsy base.
We have two of these, and they work really well. It’s great to make cup after cup of tasty pour-over coffee without having to use any paper filters. The only downsides, and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, are the silicone strips around the base, which come off easily but are VERY difficult to put back in place, and the very minimal tack welds that hold the “basket” that the filter sits in to the base. On both of our sets, these “welds” failed within a year. I ended up repairing both using Steel Stik putty. For the price, the company selling these should get the manufacturer to do these welds correctly so they last.

Problem free pour over.
This is very good quality with no problems whatsoever. Obviously, you need to be very gentle with it because the welds holding the frame to the saucer are spot welds. The stainless steel basket is great quality.

I am very happy with this product! It eliminates the need for paper filters which makes it a bit better for the environment. It does NOT affect or diminish the taste of the coffee. And it is super easy to clean. I definitely recommend.

Perfect
Someone told me that stainless steel changes the flavor of coffee. I’m a coffee snob, and let me tell you this filter does NOT change the flavor. This is the perfect contraption for making coffee. Eco Friendly, no grinds in the bottom of my cup, and water flows quickly over the coffee, making the perfect single cup to enjoy. I got rid of my coffee maker for this method. 5 stars for this item. It’s much easier than using a single cup ceramic coffee cone and hemp filter too. Somehow, I use less coffee than when I used the ceramic cone and hemp filter. With prices rising everywhere, I appreciate any bit of savings.

The silicone ring at the base came off on the 2nd washing. I learned it is important after it slid off my cup a couple times. The filter/cone works well. Better than the bodom filter.
