Tilikum Crossing is one of Portland’s newest bridges in a city that’s famous for them. Portlanders are proud of the fact that it is the first major bridge in the U.S. that was designed to allow access to transit vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians but not cars.

Tilikum Crossing Decaf

Delicious decaf coming right up!

We named our signature Swiss Water Process decaf blend (formerly known as Vienna Decaf) after Portland’s newest bridge—a full-bodied shot with notes of graham, caramel, and a clean finish. It’s as distinctive as the bridge it’s named for. It is great as a decaf cup of coffee or a decaf espresso.

This medium roast coffee blend is clean, full-bodied with notes of graham and caramel.

Sustainability: Prioritize progress, not perfection

We believe in the power of business to create positive change. It’s been at the core of how we operate since day one, and we’re constantly seeking ways to reduce our environmental and social impact.

Sustainability is about making steady progress, not reaching some final destination. Portland Coffee Roasters is proud of the steps we take to improve our operations, like our headquarters utilizing renewable energy, our organic waste composting, and our burlap bag recycling program.

Our Story

Use coffee to create positive human connections, by building and supporting socially responsible business.

Beginning with our first direct trade shipment from La Hilda Estate in Costa Rica, and our first project in 1999 with Finca El Paternal in Guatemala, it was clear that our customers saw the connection between the coffee farming communities and their morning cup of coffee. Since then, we’ve continued to build on our commitment to improving the lives of the people we work with..

Relationship ImageRelationship Image

Social Impact: Since our founding in 1996, Portland Coffee Roasters has strived to make the world a better place.

We’re committed to our efforts to build strong, lasting relationships with our growers. Along the way, we’ve built an intimate understanding of the lengths these farmers go to grow and harvest coffee of the highest quality. We celebrate the fact that, without producers invested in growing the highest quality coffee, no amount of effort in our roastery would be able to create the end results we’re so proud to offer you.

    Smooth taste
This is a bit too mild for my taste. It’s a medium and I prefer dark roast. However, I like the smoothness of it. I wouldn’t order it again, only because I like dark roast, but would recommend it to anyone who likes a lighter roast.

Best swiss water decaf for the price
Swiss water decaf is very expensive coffee . it’s like you get what you pay for . you get high quality when you pay high prices . But with this coffee I feel like you get a lot for your money because it’s really good coffee and it’s not as expensive as other Swiss water decaf coffees

    A Bit Over-Roasted and a Bit Old
The beans I was shipped seemed old; the taste was flat and lacked depth as well as very little oil came out during the extraction (finest ground, 10 bar pressure.) Bottom line, I wouldn’t order them again and am seriously considering just dumping the rest of the kilo out.

    Very tasty decaf!
This decaf is very good! I like a dark, full body coffee. This is a med. roast with full body taste. Very pleased with this coffee.
