It was advertised as a Mylar bag sealer but instructions say it is only for plastic

obvious previously used and returned item – works ok
I haven’t used the item yet, but simply upon opening the package, it is obviously a previously used and returned item. Don’t know if it works or not, but has minor chips and scratches, user manual has cuts and folds, and main internal zip tie was cut. I will update review after using it and will return if not properly functioning, but in general I hate to get a used item when I’m paying for a new one.EDIT: upgrading from 1 star to 3 stars. I tried the sealer on 5-gallon mylar bags. While it is definitely a used item (minor dings & scratches), it seems to work well. I used heat level 2 and about 15 per weld and it worked nicely. Bags ended up a little hot, but I think that is to be expected. Left a very nice seal pattern and I believe when I open the bags years from now, the food will be ok. Still not thrilled to buy a previous return for full price, but it does work.

Works Great
I have 2 different makes of this kind of sealer and they both work equally as well as one another except this one is quite a bit less expensive. Same build quality. Perfect for sealing most things and gets very very hot!
